Mr Fixit’s Top Tips: Super Saturday .. now let’s have a Super Sunday

FOR once results on Saturday went pretty well – and I hope some people did the btts goals full house in League One.

Talking of full houses – well done to Greg Browning and Scott Allot. Greg's three tips were winners and Scott put up 3-1 and 4-1 winning Euro trebles.

Jordan's single was a success too and Desmond's main 2+ goals double also landed.

I had a profitable day but it could have been so much better. The Killie -1 Super Single came in easily as they battered Brora 4-0 and that result keeps the Top Treble on track. There were no Scottish Cup shocks as expected and Aberdeen and Rangers should beat Dundee United and Ayr respectively on Sunday.

My Euro btts treble won at 5-1 thanks to games at Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Dijon but the biggest disappointment was the moneyback fivefold that was due to return 30 points. Wolves, Morton and Stirling all won but Bristol City somehow blew a 3-0 lead against Sunderland to draw. If Aberdeen win at least the stake will be refunded.

It's a busy Sunday with Newcastle v Man United and Southampton v Liverpool in the Premiership as well as on-form Bournemouth at Huddersfield. There's also the Aston Villa v Birmingham derby.

For a moneyback fivefold I'm staying with Aberdeen and Rangers and adding Man United and Liverpool as well Lyon at home to Rennes.

I've said plenty about the Dons and Gers in a separate preview while Lyon should see off Rennes with plenty to spare. The riskier bets are Man United and Liverpool but both should win. Newcastle did little in the window while United splashed out on Alexis Sanchez and they'll want a quick return for the money and the Chilean should help them outscore a side who look poor on quality but often raise their game when the Red Devils come to town.

Liverpool were also big spenders in the window with £75m going on Virgil van Dijk who returns to Southampton for the first time since earning them big bucks. He's already scored for Liverpool and is a threat when he goes up for corners and free-kicks. Worth a look at 7-1 with Marathonbet to score.

I'm hopefully not putting too much faith in Aberdeen but they should be beating Dundee United by two or three. Like Killie -2 yesterday the Dons are overpriced and I'm taking them -1 at 5-4 as the Super Single.

Finding goals bets isn't as easy today but I've picked out a treble I'm willing to risk 1pt on. Start with both to score at Groningen v Den Haag. The last seven meetings between the sides have seen both to score as have Den Haag's previous three. Groningen's last three home matches have totalled 16 goals including two 3-3 draws.

Add Barcelona and over 2.5 match goals v Getafe assuming they won't ease up ahead of this week's Champions League ties. Barca have netted 28 in their last seven at home to Getafe including 6-0 wins in the past two years and a 6-1.

Complete with both to score at Valencia v Levante. Valencia are still in the race for a Champions League place despite losing six in a row – four in the league and two to Barca in the Spanish Cup semis. They have failed to score in three but will look to get back on track for the visit of lowly Levante.

However, their visitors held Real Madrid 2-2 at home last week and before that held Deportivo 2-2 so they are capable of scoring and have lost just three out of 10 on the road.

This is likely to be the riskiest part of the treble and alternatives include btts at Southampton v Liverpool, Celta Vigo v Espanyol, Werder Bremen v Wolfsburg and Sampdoria v Verona.
