Top Football Tips

IT was easy for Liverpool against Huddersfield and now Man City need to respond at Burnley on Sunday.

I know the Reds have had trouble at Turf Moor in the past but I can't see them dropping anything this time. I've posted a separate English preview featuring City. Worth noting the weather could be stormy in parts of England and that can hit form. First up is Spurs vs West Ham at lunchtime and Grant Heaney has posted a preview.

Most of top tips are reasoned there and on my Scottish preview with Celtic v Kilmarnock at lunchtime and fans paying respect to the late Billy McNeill.

My usual moneyback fivefold is a sixfold because I've included late games at Sheffield Utd and Norwich and that gives cover opportunities if the other four win.

I've had a great week or so and the monthly figures are looking extremely healthy but it's normal stakes for me this weekend. I haven't put up a Scottish goals treble so might add a European one.

Last night my only bet was a Top Treble that won at 33-10 and I've taken 0.5pts off for covering it when I just needed another goal at Augsburg.

Well done to Scott Allot for another members bet winner and to all the other winners on Friday including Grant Heaney and maccathered who both had three winners on the Liverpool game.

Burnley are safe Macca but we’re playing really well at the moment. As long as we don’t concede earlydoors, we should give a good account of ourselves. Tbh IMO, best of chance of a City slip up is the Leicester game even though they are at home.

We will struggle getting out of our own half due to the lack of pace throughout the team. We have opted to play a CM Hendrick out of position on the right for a while and he opts to drift infield, the majority of our play currently stems through the left side with the fearless Dwight McNeill, if Pep can nullify his threat I doubt we will really create anything. I’ve been dying for Gudmundson to be brought back into team on right side for a while, he would do well up against Zinchenko on Sunday if given opportunity but Dyche keeps persisting with Hendrick out of position who is far from a fan favourite, he is a manager who hates to make changes. Only hope is we get one or two set pieces in the game, that is a strength of ours and a weakness of City’s due to the lack of height in there side. I’d recommend keeping stakes to a bare minimum on Sunday Macca if you have a bet on Burnley.

Well done with your winners tonight!

Of course they are safe, they made sure of that at Chelsea.I don’t know what i was thinking there mate lol.I think Burnley would love to put a spanner in the works though and i was on them double chance at 10/1 against Chelsea so will have a few quid double chance v City.Keeping the faith👍👍

Hendrick was quality for Derby. Still think we sold him for half what he’s worth, but you’re right, he’s a central midfielder. He can pass, tackle, create and his favourite is the late run into the box for loose balls.

Couldn’t agree more Macca 5/1 double chance. I can feel it in my blood. Today’s the day a long season catches up with them. This may sound strange because it’s in their hands but it’s like they’ve been chasing Liverpool and this games one too many

    Morning gents,

Needle end of the season for many and it’s as sharp as hell in League Two…

    TRANMERE VS. BURY:

Could quite easily take an hour or two to go through the logistical and mathematical permutations of both sides fortunes but in short The Shakers will (somehow despite the odds stacked against them) go up automatically if they win either of their last two games.

However, Tranmere have their own very real promotion agenda and are well capable of screwing our already messy end-game so it’s a case of outright war on The Wirral – I just can’t see either team being motivated to do anything but attack.

They can’t afford it and Ryan Lowe and his stalling Shakers know nothing but an outright offensive charge:

    OVER 2.5 MGS
    (19/20, bet365) 5 Points

    OVER 3.5 MGS
    (9/4, bet365) 1 Point

    BTTS 1ST HALF
    (10/3, bet365) 1 Point

    Best of luck!

Looking forward to the game Hull. As you allude to, both have potent goalscorer threats, and both desperately want them three points. Travesty the off field problems that’s going on at Bury. Hope it gets sorted. The players to their credit are giving their all at least. GL

Morning Jos – sad thing is, if we do go up we’ll likely incur a 17 point deduction or similar for a winding up order penalty.

Liking the look of this for the weekend with everything to play for.
    Double @3.02
Union Berlin vs Hamborg BTTS @1.72 (Sunday 12.30pm)
Sunderland vs Portmouth BTTS @1.75 (today)

Union Berlin are having a good season and top of the home league form. Failing to score at home in only 1 game.

Hamborg have the second best away form standi g and only failed to score in 3/15 games away from home.

3 points seperate them 4th and 2nd place respectively. So very miuch all to play for in the auto promotion after Köln slipping up yesterday.

Sunderland vs Pompy speaks for its self in regards to how big a game this is for both side.

Best of luck as always over the weekend.

    Today on the following;

    –Super Single–

National League North – 3PM – Nuneaton v Stockport County

Last game of the season in the NLN, and it’s a huge game this. There’s more than 3,400 County fans travelling down to Warwickshire to cheer on their team to potential glory, as they take on relegated table-dwellers Nuneaton. If County win today they win the league title, simple as that.
Nuneaton have lost their last 5 games in a row, in three of those games conceding at least 3 goals. They don’t have anything to play for here other than pride.. County will want to get this wrapped up knowing that anything other than a win, could results in 2nd place Chorley leapfrogging them to get their mitts on the trophy, if they beat Bradford PA.

I’m backing County to win this one comfortably, predicting a 3-0 scoreline.

    Icelandic Urvalsdeild:

    FH VS. HK (5.00pm)

FH Hafnarfjordur’s inability to keep a clean sheet reached cult status standards the last year or two and they head into their opening encounter in fine fettle having conceded in 100% of their last 7 against some mixed opposition.

Newly promoted Kopavogur-based HK will prove stiff opposition and, having hit at least 1 goal in every one of the last 5 H2H’s (twice in 2018), I reckon they’ll find the net today at a tasty price from bet365:

Can see a few pens in the SPL and EPL today . Picking the right games is the hard bit .
So i am going for a simple one . Penalty tixie – games at .
St Mirren v St Johnstone 7/2
    Motherwell v Dundee 10/3
    Hamilton v Livingston 7/2
All three up pays 162/1 Hills price boost.
I think there might be a few red cards as well

    Blues v ospreys Rugby union.

Dan Evans anytime tryscorer 7/2 (wh)
Dan Evans to score 2+ tries 14/1 (Betfair)
Dan Evans Hat trick 125/1 (betfair)

This guy has been a Goldmine for try scorer betting this season and the bookies never seem to catch on ,8 tries in the last 3 games , bringing in the 125/1 hat-trick twice.
He won’t be far away from the action.

    Bristol V Derby:

    Derby team news:

    Roos
    Bogle/Keogh/Tomori/Malone
    Johnson/Huddlestone
    Wilson/Mount/Lawrence
    Waghorn

1 enforced change from the side that beat Qpr. Bryson out with an ankle injury – in comes Huddlestone.
I’d of changed out Bryson for Holmes to give us a bit more attack and I’d of rested Waghorn in favour of Marriott who teams up well with Wilson. I guess the gaffer is going for solidity instead of Gung-ho.
Maybe we need it. Bristol battered us last season 4-1 at Ashton Gate but the other 5 matches head to heads since that match and before have seen 5 draws, all 1-1’s an 0-0’s.

Bristol are just 1 point behind us and both of us have an extra game in hand. Middlesbrough need to stuff up against Reading today as they’re level on points. Bristol have a poor record at home but Derby have not won on the road since December.
Btts is a sensible option in this game, but Derby have to be up for it from the off.
I’ll be opting for a speculative treble, it’s your call if you follow. I just have a feeling Derby will find what they need to get this in the bag.

I’m waiting on the prices to open up on Bet365, but i’ll be taking £10 on a treble:

Derby win and btts Yes/ over 12 corners total and overs 3.5 cards.

I’ll put in prices when they’re there.
Good luck guys. ( this game isn’t one for adding on to acca’s ).

No prices on bet365 for the Bristol/Derby cards market so I’m switching my bet to betfair:
      Btts – yes @ 4/7
      Match result – Derby @ 11/5
      Over 11.5 corners @ 7/5

    Super Sunday tips
    Leicester City v Arsenal
Leicester City to win at 17/10
Arsenal are diabolical away from home, they play some of the worst football you will witness and i reckon they have their eye on the Valencia game midweek,i have never seen so many teams f*ck up in the race for top four anyway the value is on the homeside here.
    Burnley v Man City
    Burnley double chance at 9/2
I don’t think there will be many backers of this bet for obvious reasons but i think Burnley could cause City problems here, they went to Chelsea and pulled of a deserved 2-2 draw and the likes of Chris Wood can cause any defence problems and given City;s isn’t the best this could be the game where City drop a point or two.Low stakes advised.
    Man Utd v Chelsea
    Chelsea to win at 17/10*****(NAP)
I’m making Chelsea my NAP of the day against Man Utd as the debacle for the top four continues,Eden Hazard will be a madrid player alongside Paul Pogba next season but Hazard will still want to make sure his beloved Chelsea are in the hat for next seasons champions league.Paul Pogba couldn’t care less about Man Utd and that is evident from his displays in recent games especially against Man City and this is having an effect on the rest of the players and it’s there for all to see.

Also will be on a penalty in each game which pays 59/1 should it land.
    Best of luck

Despite Bristol dominating large swathes of the game, it was Derby who drew first blood. We lost Tomori to injury around 20 mins in and Derby started to rack up the cards. 2nd half and Derby started to grow into the game. they picked up a straight red and Derby got a 2nd. Derby did have the ball in the net twice more, but Bristol’s best chances I believe came when they had 11 men on the field. Sadly no btts, the cards component came in and we lacked a handful more corners.
With Swansea out of the frame for a playoff spot and only Derby/Middlesbrough and an outside chance for Bristol left in that race, with a game in hand over Borough, you have to fancy Derby getting a result away to Swansea midweek. Bristol will also fancy putting one over on Millwall who they also host midweek. Millwall have nothing to play for, they’re safe. Bristol MUST win their last 2 matches and hope Derby and Borough get no more than a 1 point each from the remaining Derby games ( 2 ) and Borough’s last game. Stranger things have happened.
On current form, you have to fancy Villa to beat Leeds tomorrow. If that happens, theoretically, WBA could finish 3rd given their 3 or so goal difference on Leeds. But if they do beat Derby in the last match and Derby have already secured the 6th spot, then of all the teams in the playoffs, WBA would probably not want to play us twice more over the space of 10 days or so. We’ve already tore them a new one 4-1 at their ground when they were in a rich vein of form. That loss unsettled them for a few months and they started dropping points.
Derby’s formation switch from a 4-3-3 to 4-2-3-1 did the biz today, I have a feeling it will take us into the playoffs possibly with the WBA game on Sunday being just a training run match. But would Derby or WBA want to lay down a marker or rest players? I doubt.
I don’t think WBA will relish the chances of playing us twice in the playoffs given the 4-1 loss they suffered to us in December. Therefore I think Derby will beat them Sunday. That would set up a WBA/Villa semi and Leeds/Derby semi.
I believe Derby would rather face WBA in the semi’s than Leeds. – Even though we owe Leeds one over the spy-gate saga.
