WE have a busy couple of days coming up and it would have been nice to put some in the betting bank on Monday.
Originally I was going to do a double on over 2.5 goals in the Atalanta and Monaco games but I added West Brom draw no bet because I didn't trust any of the other games to go over.
But Stoke, as I feared, raised their game for a visit to the leaders who never turned up. Although I got goals at Atalanta, and that was challenge bet No.3, a win for SPAL was a huge surprise.
I wish I'd waited for Greg's Lommel reserves tip – the Belgians landed him some winners after a seven-goal first half and are definitely his new favourite team for goals.
On Tuesday there are six Premier League games and I've posted a preview. It's a tough set of fixtures with no absolute standout winner in there from any game although I'd favour Chelsea at home to an Arsenal side who have skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang banned.
Other matches include Sheffield Utd v Man City, Aston Villa v Watford and Bournemouth v Brighton so it's more about the battle to beat the drop.
There are eight lower-league games and non-league matches as well as cup ties on the Continent.
For a Top Treble I'm sticking with the one I have in today's Record – and while odds are shorter than usual it highlights how tough a Premier League card it is.
Crystal Palace v Southampton should produce goals and to that I'm adding Peterborough v Wycombe in League One. The last meeting was 3-3 and four out of five have gone over 2.5 goals.
My last pick was toss-up between Napoli v Lazio in the Italian Cup and Lille v Lyon in the French League Cup semis and I've gone with the latter.
Three out of four meetings have gone this way as have five of Lyon's last six – the other was a 7-0 cup win.
I wasn't going to do a Super Single but running out of time if I want to wipe out losses so taking a chance on Lazio. They are on a run of 13 wins, including two against Juventus, and face a Napoli side struggling under Rino Gattuso with four defeats in five. Lazio are 2-1 at bet365.

Can’t believe the price of lazio away to Napoli tonight. Gattuso already considering resigning and lazio are flying. Might have a NAP and NB from Italy/France cups, will wait for team news.
Thought the same when I saw the price however Napoli’s league campaign is pretty much over with too many teams above them with more points to realistically make the European spots so they should really be making cup comps their priority. Furthermore the Napoli players themselves apparently cancelled their day off to do voluntary extra training in a bid to stop the rot.
Opposite fortunes for Lazio who as you said are flying at the moment and have their best shot at winning the league in years so may not take the cup competitions as seriously.
Think there could well be a shock tonight so may back Napoli myself, just feel the price is a bit too good to be true.

First bet loses then obviously have to reload. There’s not an unlimited pot there to bet with so try my best to get a winner or 2 in right at the start. Mostly I Cash out on a Sunday night but if there’s a decent amount in the accounts I’ll cash most of it out and just leave a wee bit to play with. I get it spent when it’s back in my bank so the bookies don’t get it back straight away. The amounts I deposit vary as to what I can afford each week. Mrs 567 is expecting again, so this year I’ve started really small and built up then cashed out what I thought was a decent return. For example a fortnight ago I started with £8 and I had cashed out £250 before I reloaded again on Friday there. Started with £15 on Friday and cashed out £125 Sunday night plus left myself money for this coming week. Ive said before a betting bank with the money constantly sitting there is no use to me. I’ve tried it and found I was blasé about bets, it didn’t really matter massively if I lost a few in a row as there was always money for the next one. This way I have found I work a lot harder to find winners and it’s paying dividends. Since start of year both my naps and nb have seen 8/11 winners. That’s 72% strike rate for each.

Just wondered if anyone knows the answer to this – I’ve got a fiver free bet in my account, if I put the free bet on a draw no bet (and the match finished a draw) would I get the free bet back for another go? The free bet amount is never included in any winning return, just wasn’t sure what would happen with a DNB. Cheers in advance
