I SAID I didn't like quiet Mondays but maybe I'll need to have a rethink after a 26-5 winner.
Oldham were all I fancied and added them to tips by jamesylfc (Brest v Nancy btts) and kyleb (Cliftonville -1) and my pick looked to be letting us all down.
But the Latics turned around their FA Cup tie with Hampton & Richmond by levelling after 87 minutes then adding a winner five minutes into injury time.
After the run I had over the weekend I was due some luck and hopefully plenty were on.
Well done to Greg for his Belgian winners and HullShaker for Carshalton – and there were plenty of others on what turned out to be a good night.
Tuesday looks a potential nightmare with a pile of EFL Trophy matches and some National League games to look. Greg has posted a goals double and also advised Sky Bet specials on the EFL Trophy matches.

Concord Rangers vs Eastbourne Borough
There has been a flurry of goals at both ends in recent times for the away side with a total of 36 goals in there last 8 in the league with each one of those seeing over 2.5 and 87.5% successfully landing BTTS. Concord are averaging 2.14 team goals a game on home soil and have netted successfully in 84% of those with the 5-0 mauling by high flying Welling United being the only exception, gonna take what I deem to be the value pick here. Concord have successfully netted 2 or more goals in 5 out of 7 home fixtures and boast an excellent record against those around and below them.

my team, torquay united v st albans looks good for goals, they’re the top scorers in the national league south (32 scored, 27 conceded in 16 league matches), and we don’t seem to be able to keep a clean sheet these days since a raft of injuries has disrupted GJ’s inpeccable start to his reign at plainmoor, altho we’ve only conceded 12 all season, four of those came in our last two league games

If you are a Chester City fan you’v certainly been entertained this season. They come into this match having seen 10 of their last 11 matches end over 2.5 goals ( 7 of those saw 4+ goals with 8 of the games seeing both sides score)
Their gung ho mentality has left them open defensively and despite being 5th in the table
Just two points off the top, they have the 5th worst defensive record out of the 22 clubs .
I doubt they care too much about that as they are scoring goals for fun at the moment. Only Kidderminster and Bradford PA have scored more.
They travel to play a struggling York City side who have lost their last 4 matches conceding 11 goal in the process.
I don’t see them keeping a clean sheet against this rampant Chester side but they have scored in 12 of their last 13 at home scoring 13 goals
In their last 4 matches at home.
We should see both sides scoring here
Dundee United Res v St Mirren Res (KO 1.45)
The bookies are taking no chances here and have markerts set at over 4.5 match goals ( it’s usually 3.5) you can understand why though.
United’s last last 3 games have ended 5-1 4-3 4-3 and with their 8 matches this season yielding 41 goals, we should expect more of the same today against a St Mirren side who dishesd out a 5-0 hammering to them at the start of the season
St Mirren have lost all three away matches and although they are clear favourites today, It should be closer and I’d expect both sides to score

I’m sticking with the Lower League theme and have picked out an FA Trophy replay featuring one of my old favourite sides…
MICKLEOVER SPORTS VS. STRATFORD TOWN:
Back in the day, Mickleover were one of my ‘go-to’ teams for goals in the Non-League Div One – they were one of life’s certainties and the preponderence for games featuring btts was eyewatering.
I still keep tabs on them but was surprised to see that they have recently entered a rare phase of ‘goal-dry’ games with the last 4 seeing 2 or less match goals…a rare occurrence and one that has, in conjunction with the 1-1 first leg, led to a very generous price for goals in my humble opinion!
Despite that recent recorf, Mickleover have scored in around 75% of their last 12 home matches and managed the away goal at Stratford last time out – as for the travelling side, Straford have scored in 90% of their own last 10 whilst seeing btts in 11 of their most recent 16 matches.
To hell with the bookies, I’m not having a Micklover game with no goals – both sides have proven they can get the better of the others defence and I reckon these prices are well worth a go:
