IT was a billed as a Super Sunday but it was anything but with no goals at Wembley or Old Trafford in the big games.
It was better in Scotland with 10 goals in the matches involving Celtic and Rangers and on the Continent Greg landed his 20+ goals bets with the others losers.
HullShaker also posted a winner and I made a tiny profit on the day thanks to an over 2.5 goals treble in matches at Willem, Dortmund and Levante.
My two 1pt Super Singles were losers but I'm claiming I was robbed. First of all I read Bobby Madden was the ref at Hamilton v Rangers and tipped a Hamilton red but he wasn't the man in the middle and anyway all the fire was taken out of the game with the Ibrox men scoring three early goals.
The second one was Sergio Aguero to score first in the EFL Cup Final but when he netted but VAR backed up the offside decision. He could have been level – or inches on the wrong side.
Monday's big game is a “derby” between Nottm Forest and Derby with Nathan saying last week this would be a home win as his team are struggling.
He's slightly changes his tune so check out his comments and it looks like he's predicting a draw.
I'm starting a Top Treble with Forest not to lose as their form looks to be picking up under Martin O'Neill and by all accounts they were unlucky not to take more than a point form their last two games against Preston and West Brow.
By contrast Derby were booed off after losing 1-0 at home to Millwall and also drew recently with Ipswich – in fact it's two wins out of seven for Frank Lampard's men whose form blip could cost them a play-off place.
It will be fiercely fought as usual and there's a decent chance of a red card in the match at around 7-2, 4-1.
Add Sporting to win at Maritimo as they target a third-place finish after crashing out of the Europa League to Villarreal. Sporting are 15 points behind leaders Benfica but should beat a Maritimo outfit with just one goal in four games and only six at home in 10 – no one in any top European league has netted fewer in front of their fans.
Sporting have won 11 of the last 12 meetings and Maritimo have lost eight of their last 10 home matches. A price of around 4-5 on the away looks worth taking and our old friend Bas Dost, the league's leading scorer, is 3-1 at Unibet to break the deadlock.
Elsewhere there are decent games on the Continent including Girona v Real Sociedad and RB Leipzig v Hoffenheim as well as some Irish games.
But to complete my treble I'm unashamedly nicking over 2.5 goals from HullShaker at Wealdstone v Billericay. Read his non-league tips here.
I'll look to put up at least one tip around lunchtime and well done to all the winners yesterday.

Comiserations to Liverpool on blowing the the title yesterday according to Macca they would have won the league if they beat Man U yesterday don’t recall them even having a shot. I’ve called it from day one and I was mocked on here I also put up Man City to win the league at 4/1 when Liverpool went well clear well you’re not laughing now are you Macca
Would you like some pork scratchings with you’re bitter?
*Your
No, it’s meant to read you’re as in ‘you’re bitter’. Because you are
That sentence still doesn’t make sense. With you are bitter? Huh lol
Yeah maybe I should have put it in quotation marks so that dollards could see the dig in it. Lesson learned. You stay classy
You back pedal any further you’ll end up with Marty McFly in 1955you do anymore back pedalling you’ll end up in 1955 Marty
Double post 😂 donkey ears on
😂😂
Cheers, I heard you first time though
😂😂😂
And here’s me thinking Liverpool area point clear at the top with United to play.
Pre Forest/Derby thoughts:
Derby have had 3 back to back awful league games and another bad one against Brighton in the FA cup. We’ve just not been fluid, and we’ve been lacking all over the pitch. This game should be arriving on the back of a relatively straight-forward run of 4 or 5 league games for the Rams but Derby have failed to gain any momentum in those matches. It’s worrying. We’re out of the top 6, Forest are breathing down our necks and everybody is running out of games. The top 3 are starting to pull away.
Derby have not lost against Forest home or away in the league in 6 matches. Won 3, drawn 3, and the last 2 times we’ve faced off, it’s been 0-0. Derby have also not won at the city ground since 2012.
I thought Martin O’Neill’s appointment would give Forest a huge boost to see them surge into the top 6, but their results have been about on par with Derby’s.
I know Derby have a few players out; Mount and Carson out for 5 or so matches and we’ve missed Mounts creativity, but Marriott returning has not provided results on the pitch and a few others up front have been a bit toothless. No service up front and you just won’t get goals. Rather more concerning is how late Derby are leaving it to have a shot on goal. And it’s not an occasional thing. It’s becoming regular.
Derby did dominate possession against Millwall, but did nothing with it. Millwall had 1 attack, 1 shot and got the winner.
The neutrals would probably drop onto a Forest win, but their results of late are hardly inspiring.
5 from 7 of the last league games Forest have hosted Derby have seen 5 red cards. 4 for derby, 1 for Forest, but red cards between the two sides have been quite absent. This match is due one.
If either side isn’t motivated to compete in this tie, then they deserve to out of the running for a top 6 finish.
I’ll NEVER bet against Derby playing Forest, I’d rather put my balls in a mincing machine.
I’m also not convinced that either team will seize the opportunity, or the bragging rights.
I believe this game will go under 2.5 tmg’s, I believe there will be a lot of cards and I expect Forest to dominate the race to corners, particularly the race to 5 or 7. Maybe it would be smart to have Forest on a handicap for the corners market.
If Forest set themselves up in the same manner as all the opponents Derby have faced and struggled against, ( physical and allow no time on the ball ), Forest will get a minimum of a draw. It won’t be a pushover though.
If somebody does break the deadlock, I believe it will be Forest who score first. this might spur Derby into playing some football.
One thing I also NEVER bet on is the draws markets. However, I think it will ends honours all even.
I hope there is something of use to you guys, and apologise in advance if my write-up is too long for you, you’re welcome to scroll past it.
Before reading this I was thinking Forest draw no bet. From what I read they were unlucky against Preston and West Brom and maybe playing better than results suggest.
Some insight on the Derby v Milwall game – I’d be happy to write this off as a one off. Lampard inexplicably changed their formation to 5 at the back for the first time all season and despite not registering a shot on target until injury time, refused to change it back to the usual 4-3-3. I’d expect Lampard to learn from this and not make the same mistake again.
This is a tough game to call and one I’ll be looking closely at the line ups. I’d agree with Nath on Forest winning the corners race but wouldn’t take that if Jozefzoon is playing for Derby due to his direct nature.
The other person I’m looking out for is Tom Huddlestone. He’s important to the way Derby play. If he doesn’t start I think Forest draw no bet is solid. If he does play, 7/4 on getting carded looks tasty. Tom’s a good footballer but slow. He’s not afraid to stop the fast break by committing a cynical foul. Furthermore, this is personal for him, he doesn’t like Forest. He’s a local lad that was on their books as a youngster and they released him. Last season (I think) he got sent off in this fixture for two bookings. All of the information in this paragraph represents this being a good price imo, if he starts which is a pretty big if after the Milwall game.
Apologies, a bit caught up in the build-up.
Derby starting 11: left to right
Roos
Cole/Tomori/Keogh/Bogle
King/Huddlestone/Wilson
Holmes/Marriott/Waghorn
Cole in place of Malone, so a back 4. Bryson has a foot injury. Homes on the left, I think its his best place. King needs a good game, and yes Huddlestone should be fired up for this one. He’s good for a yellow, I agree. Just hope he keeps his head if he does get one.
Forgot to mention, Grabben isn’t in the starting 11. He did get in behind our back 4 when we faced off earlier at Derby, but Tomori’s pace either beat him to the ball or forced him out wide.
I’ve heard Forest are playing 4-1-4-1.
Expect Forest to push for corners, they might get their best chance from one. They’ll also be aware of conceding freekicks outside their box. Wilson is a bit off par with his freekicks, but he’s due one to burst the net. Think he’s the highest scorer in the league from outside the box.
This should be a good one.
Good luck guys.
Yikes. Huddlestone dragged off at half time. I think for the first time this season? When your luck’s out, your luck’s out eh?

Good morning Macca
just looking at your post from yesterday saying united played 5 in defence makes me realize you dont know alot about soccer also united were the better team yesterday created two or three chances ,de gea hadn’t a save to make there wasn’t much between the two teams yesterday but united were better.3 players injured and liverpool couldn’t create one chance ,that says it all for me .for a lot of that game liverpool were playing the long ball i couldn’t believe what i was seeing a team wanting to win the title and playing like that. i just hope city go on to win it now .
Completely agree theplug. Called it ages ago saying they would bottle it as usual
He said 6 defenders. United had 2 inexperienced kids in midfield liverpool should have run all over them easily but couldn’t
he said 6 defenders but I think he was letting his frustration get the better of him as everyone knows man u where there for the taking if Liverpool had turned up. There was no way it was 6 at the back.
sean567
Liverpool did turn up they are just not good enough ,
it is not SOCCER. it is football
1williegibson
what is football
Still top of the league.
As a neutral the game was rubbish. The injuries affected United but for some reason Liverpool couldn’t get going and Klopp admitted it was poor stuff.
Whether it’s two points dropped or a point won we’ll see – my advice to you is stop looking too far ahead.
I said before the game nothing would be settled on Sunday with so many games to play.
both games on Sunday were a complete anti-climax, combined with the two midweek CL 0-0’s it really was a disappointing week of elite team football.
hanging on macca look at all the points they have droped in the last few weeks ,they are on the slide ,i said this a few weeks ago just before pool played city,so far im right.thy will drop more points and so will city but city look the stronger of the two. like mrfixit said the title wonnt be settled after one game

3 games of interest to me today, matches in Denmark, Greece, and Portugal where 1st or 2nd entertains 2nd bottom in every match. As usual goals is what im interested in for these games with all 3 home teams chasing the title im expecting to see a few. Confidence has been knocked a bit over what was a poor weekend, but I think every one of these games should see the home sides net 2+ and even 3+. For the nap im going to go for team goals and the nb play it slightly safer with mgs. Games are

Afternoon folks! New member to the page. Fingers crossed I can share a few winners and win a few of others! Tipster from Ireland and I have some knowledge of the Irish premier.
Bohemians v Shamrock Rovers should be a good game. Bohemians normally solid enough at home and you can get them at just under 3/1 with 365. I’ve decided to call with both to score on this one at 23/20. Shamrock good side away from home and normally tend to get at least one.
St Pat’s v Finn Harps
St Pat’s unbeaten in last 5 at home and Finn Harps winning 3 out of 5 in last 5 away games. I expect goals but would I think the St Pat’s win at 2/5 is the safer bet.
Last game I’ve had a look at is Derry City v Waterford
Derry city is a team I backed a lot last season as you always got them at a decent price and the same applies tonight at 29/20. Derry city scoring for fun at the moment with 6 in their last 2 at home. Although Waterford are just of the back of a great result against Cork. I always feel the home advantage plays a massive part in this league and for that reason I’m taking Derry City.
Treble on Coral pays at 13/2.
Bohemians v Shamrock BTTS – 23/20
St Pat’s v Finn Harps – St Pat’s 2/5
Derry City v Waterford – Derry City 29/20
Good luck! 🤫
Cheers, always good to see Irish tips. Racing Post have some today including Derry draw no bet.
Thanks for the welcome Mr F! Been following your page now for up to 2 years now only now took it upon myself to become a member.
Derry City draw no bet probably the safer bet but returns would be minimal if I added it to the treble. I tend not to post tips if they don’t return at least 5/1 plus.
Good luck for the rest of the day!
yeah, welcome cairnzy. +1 on the Irish tips.. always handy!
Thanks Alex mate! Good luck
Falkirk now into 3/5

Good afternoon Gents, spotted what could be a bit of value this afternoon in the Bulgarian A PFG.
Septemvri Sofia vs Vitosha Bistritsa K.O. 15:30
Septemvri are priced up at EVENS (Skybet, W/Hills), feel this is very generous.
Although both clubs lie in the bottom half of the league, the respective form of both clubs are complete opposites
Septemvri have won last 4 matches (2 league games 2 Friendlies), whilst Vitosha have lost 5 of last 6 matches (2 League matches 7 4 Friendlies). Vitosha’s away form fares even worse, with only 1 win in 12 games, losing 7 matches to nil
Since restart of their season Septemvri have won both matches to nil whilst Vitosha have lost both to nil.
Of the 5 H2H’s played Septemvri have won both home games 1-0 and feel a similar result may be on the card today
Recommended bets
Septemvri Sofia to win @ EVENS (Skybet & W/Hills)
Septemvri Sofia win & under 2.5 goals @ 7/2 (Skybet)
Good Luck with all bets today!

Both teams to score – 1/1 betfair

Going to go with over 2.5 on bet365.
I used to work in Oman and other Middle East country’s I worked with a player who at the time played for Dhofar anyway long story short from what I have been told from this player without going into detail is that in this league is very corrupt if the price is too good to be true generally not to be touched.
Well if anyone followed hope you picked the opposite to me.
Btts won (was 2/1 last 15 mins)
Overs lost
11 cards shown fiesty game.
Fancied the overs more but only had money in my bet365 and for some reason didn’t do btts before kick off.
Will keep away from them leagues after Thetram comments.
I had a look at the score at about 85mins and seen something like 28 shots on target and 27 off target crazy stats so either something fishy going on or very unlucky be sensible
Cheers Thetram.
Soon find out sometimes get to warm in the comfort blanket not realising how corrupt most places are in the world.
Will avoid after this that’s for sure.
Oman is one of the least corrupt country’s in that part of the world mate in general and taken very seriously but football seems to have slipped under the radar for some reason.

Don’t think it has been mentioned but games between the Turk giants is often littered with cards. Refree stats are strong as well and bookies taking no chances as prices are flatout so gonna have a couple of efforts hoping both teams have their studs out.

Your right about cards Gigi. The amount of reds are unbelievable . G.L.
Yea cocker 12 reds in last 7 h2h. Hope for more today
Lots of goals in Turkey instead of cards strangely.
Few bets for tonight
Correct scores – 0.5pts each
2-1 Derby @ 21/2 (Boylesports)
1-1 draw @ 23/4 (Boylesports)
2-1 Nottingham Forest @ 9/1 (Skybet)
Derby’s record for night time games has been awful this season. Can see that being a big factor for them. They also played their last game 5 days ago which won’t have given them enough time rest and train whereas Forest have had 9 days between this and their last match.

Average card tonight but have come up with an evening double via Turkey & Greece. 5pm start
Panetolikos (5pm) 21/20

Besiktas (6pm) 5/6
– Besiktas unbeaten in 36 of 38 at home and have a great record at home to teams in the bottom half. Fenerbache currently having a very poor season in 15th and have won 1 in 11 away from home.

Posted ,my card bets for the week ahead yesterday, the first one has been priced which is Naismith v Celtic on wednesday night. Bet 365 have went a generous 11/4, have snatched that up this now with an option to cash out for same stake if anyone else goes bigger.
Avoiding Forest v Derby but will watch it, possibly inplay cards.
My bet for tonight is for Girona to score and Benfica-1.
Girona were very very impressive at the Bernabeu last weekend, their results haven’t been consistent this season thats why they only sit 4pts above the relegation zone. With the home backing and a massive confidence boost last weekend, i am backing them to breach the Sociedad defence.
Benfica-1 speaks for itself, very strong at home and looking for a win to go 1pt behind Porto at the top of the league.

Shocking Sean. Can’t believe they could only net 1 the entire 2nd half against 10 men. Some of these teams play for bookies
Just symptomatic of the run I’m on atm guys. Everything that can happen to screw you, does. Mgs treble tomorrow in England for the nap, see if that changes my fortunes
Feeling exactly the same way mate – they did for my main bet today as well and Kortrijk Reserves of all people ended up finishing 1-0 to down my other double (which I thought looked very safe). Been a very poor month, lost count of the number of 100% records which have fallen whilst I’ve had cash on them (like the Copenhagen pick today – 10/10 homes had seen over 1.5 tgls….until today).
