IT was an exciting and goal-laden night in the Champions League with most of the favourites winning.
An exception were Shakhtar Donetsk who were held at home in the early game so my moneyback fivefold was voided when really I need a nice 9pts win.
There were also goals galore in the Championship buy my Top Treble was beaten by QPR being held at home to Reading and my goals bet wasn't too close.
It's back to the drawing board for me after more near misses and hopefully Wednesday will be kinder.
Holders Liverpool head to Genk, Salzburg v Napoli looks a cracker and Chelsea are tested at Ajax.
In the Championship games include Fulham v Luton and Nottm Forest v Hull. And there are three games in League One including Ipswich v Rotherham.
My Super Single, and it's reasoned on my preview, is Salzburg and over 2.5 goals and I'm putting a lot of faith in goals in Austria by taking over 2.5 on my Top Treble – but every stat suggests it will land.
Add Barcelona at Slavia Prague with the Spaniards beginning to shine. Antoine Griezmann, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez netted in a match for the first time at the weekend and that's bad news for a decent Slavia Prague side. Their only defeat this season was at home to Dortmund and Barca can make it a second at around 1-2.
Pretty confident Liverpool will turn it on away to Genk and Bruges' 5-0 home defeat by PSG last night is an indication where Belgian football is at the moment. It won't be that easy but Liverpool -1AH should land.
Putting up a Championship treble too – backing Nottm Forest and Fulham at home to Hull and Luton respectively and revitalised Huddersfield draw no bet against Middlesbrough.

Apart from the bengals and dolphins the redskins are the worst team in the nfl, they even only beat the dolphins by a single point in a game that finished 17-16…. last game was a 9-0 loss against the 49’ers which confirmed what I said in my Super Bowl winner write up last week that the 49’ers struggle for points and will die off as their season goes on (even if it means in the playoffs) Minnesota have been a solid team for putting up totals this year with their figures 42,32,28 in their last 3 games meaning offensively they are actually playing better as the season is going on. In RB Dalvin Cook they can easily rush for over 100 yards in this game against a side who have given up over 130 regularly this season, running the ball runs down the clock and doing so well scores points, both play a major part in covering the handicap spread as the less time the redskins have on the ball the worse they will be using it when they eventually get chance, and with the way the redskins offence has been playing they could use the full 60 mins with the ball and would probably still find a way to lose!
This would have been a double stake nap if it weren’t for the redskins having a caretaker Head coach who’s in his 2nd game after they sacked jay gruden after a 0-5 start this year, still confident enough to have a 1.5 x nap stake as the vikings are a team who are in a tough division with the packers whom are now 6-1 so need to win every game they face with a match up against a team like this so they will be up for this and will want it cemented as a win early, which should mean a calm 4th quarter to see out the win.
I think this line will go out over the 2 touchdown win mark (16.5+) so I’m taking the -15.5 now, will be looking at requestabets too tomorrow as I think Kirk cousins will throw for over 300 yards and as stated cool should have a good game too!

Last thursday I spotted a team (but didn’t post on thread) that could produce a shock result and they did, Alverca beat Sporting in Portugal League Cup. The reason behind my prediction was their Home form! They had only lost 1 in 20 home games and even for a third division club thats very impressive.
Point is I was just checking Ajax v Chelsea and Ajax’s record at Home ground is more than impressive! They last lost a home game against Tottenham in champions league semi final and they have scored atleast 1 in last 20 home games and also 2 or more in 17 of tjose matches!! They are playing at home after 3 weeks so home fans will be fired up for this one.
Chelsea are not in a bad form themselves, their away goalscoring record is better than at Stamford Bridge! Their competitive away games scorelines read like this 4-0, 1-1, 2-3, 2-5, 1-2, 1-4
That 1-1 was super cup final against Liverpool and the trend is clear when chelsea play away from home.
Both teams to score is priced short @1/2 with most bookies, Chelsea are also a young side like Ajax but probably little less experience than Ajax. Despite selling their best players like De Jong and De Ligt Ajax havent shown any signs of slowing down and are top of the Eredivisie. I think Ajax can win this but I’m going for goals!
