I'VE had a good week but it was a poor Saturday although my 11-2 goals bet is still running.
Both to score at Motherwell v Rangers will land a win and soften the blow suffered by Saturday's losses.
I was disappointed by the Albion Rovers Super Single but it was a 10-3 long shot and 1pt lost. Some people would have been confused when Greg Browning congratulated me on the other Super Single even though Bristol City conceded an injury-time equaliser.
He knows with them leading just 2-1 that I'd have cashed out for almost a full payout – also cashed out the Top Treble after Man City's early goal but it was still a surprise they didn't add to their lead in the FA Cup semi-final against Brighton.
In the interest of fair play the Super Single and Top Treble are marked as losses in the stats but most savvy punters would have taken decent cashout offers.
It was a pretty tough day all round with Scott landing a European treble and HullShaker hitting a goals winner but not much else. if you did profit well done.
City's win was unimpressive but it moved them closer to the Quadruple and their final opponents will be decided today when Watford and Wolves meet. It's a tough one to call and best bet could be both to score. Kevinmac has a detailed preview so check it out. His Barcelona v Atletico Madrid predictions were spot on.
Motherwell entertain Rangers in the lunchtime Scottish Premiership game where I need goals and Everton entertain Arsenal in the Premier League.
My Super Single is again a long shot so small stakes but Werder Bremen and both to score at Borussia Monchengladbach has a decent chance.
Bremen have won four in a row with this market coming up in three and both have scored in seven of their last eight. This fixture has brought up btts seven in a row and remarkably the last six meetings have gone over 3.5 goals – three of those being 4-1 home wins.
The h2h stats would be all that put me off backing Bremen. But Borussia have just one win in seven so form favours the visitors.
I also have this game on a btts treble along with Lazio v Sassuolo and Levante v Huesca. Four of the last five meetings in Rome have brought up btts and over 2.5 goals and Sassuolo have netted on their last five trips to face Lazio.
Levante and Huesca is taken on form. Huesca's previous seven have seen both score and it's been the same in five of Levante's last two meetings.

I see some matches which are tipped regularly with BTTS at 1.50 (1/2)
IMO whilst BTTS is more likely in some games – its essentially quite hard to consistently get right especially if doing a BTTS acca – so i dont think odds of 1.50 are really worth it

Lower the odds the better chance you have of winning so depends on how much you’re staking, how much you want to win, etc.
Odds of 1-2 for me are fine on an accumulator.
I understand that Mr F my point is specifically in relation to BTTS – im always happy putting the favourite to win in an accy for 1/2 but for BTTS you need both teams good enough (or bad enough) to get a goal – which I think is a harder thing to predict than a win and so for odds of 1/2 (which is the lowest ive personally seen for this market) on 2/3 selections I feel like its quite high risk for less reward than you deserve
Just my two cents anyway – appreciate the tips as ever!
I look at stats, form, h2hs and team news before deciding if I like the game for btts.
Only then do I look at the price – and 1-2 wouldn’t put me off if I was confident it was landing.
As I said yesterday I would put this in a double or treble and not as a single.
You need to do what you like rather than question how I do it.

I reckon this game should be a cracker,i have watched Everton’s last couple of games and they have been creating plenty of chances and also had a couple of good wins,they beat Chelsea at home and then West Ham away a game in which they should have easily had 5 by half time,one thing is for sure they will up their game for the visit of Arsenal.Both these sides want the points for different reasons,Everton will want to finish 7th and of course Arsenal want top four.This game should be open and end to end and if the strikers are on form then i see no reason why we shouldn’t see goals here.

Werder are overpriced here in my opinion. H2H is pretty much 50/50, and whilst M’Gladbach have usually done OK at home v Werder, it’s form that is the main contributing factor to my pick.
M’Gladbach have been poor at home of late, their last 4 games have seen hammerings from Hertha, Wolfsburg and Bayern. Only mustering up a measly 1-1 draw with Freiburg last week.
Werder’s home form is superior, but away from home they’re still decent and are unbeaten in their last 5 Bundesliga outings, (2 wins and 3 draws). Double chance is also a good price at 8/11, but I think they might just edge a win today.

I copied this excellent tip, but with a stake of £0.10, so a total stake of £24.70. 6 of the 8 bets came in and the bet was settled by Bet365 for exactly £24.70. My understanding is that if 4 or 5 of the 8 bets come in, then this should guarantee a profit, and I certainly didn’t expect exactly my stake returned for 6 bets coming in. Are Bet365 correct or should I be in profit ? Thanks in advance.
