IT was a mixed bag in the Champions League on Tuesday – starting badly with Liverpool but getting better as the night progressed.
I concentrated on goals and while every match went over 1.5 I was looking for better value but Liverpool's loss downed my 1pt treble early and that was my only bet.
There were plenty of winners though – too many to mention – but you know who you are.
It's all about the Champions League again tonight and I've posted a preview featuring all of the games including Man City v Shakhtar and Juventus v Man United. I'm pretty confident about City winning well but United will struggle not to lose in Turin.
I have a Top Treble in today's Daily Record and sticking with that for now. In the paper I've taken Cristiano Ronaldo to score first but not putting points on it so for the Super Single I'm backing Ajax draw no bet at off-form Benfica.

All eyes on the game expecting the Italians to triumph, and I wouldn’t bet against this, however I think there’s some value to be had in other markets. Juve have conceded in their last two games at the Allianz – to Genoa and Cagliari, so whilst their defence is usually rock solid, they do have a chink in their armour.
If the previous match at Old Trafford was anything to go by, you’d say the chances of a United goal were little to none, however the team has shown signs of improvement and most of that is down to the zero-come-hero Anthony Martial AKA Jose’s saviour.

Hi Pete, Bet365 are not offering corner markets on Arsenal U21’s match and I dont think Leicester U21’s will be good for 1st half corners – in their last 7 EFL appearences Leicester U21’s only met the target of 5 twice and in their two games this season they came up short so I’m swerving that one.
