IT was two bets and two winners to continue a decent run over the past week or so.
Both to score at Inter v Spurs and over 3.5 goals at Liverpool v PSG landed the 31-10 double and the Top Treble came up courtesy of wins by Aston Villa, West Brom and Stoke.
Apologies for the earlier typo on the Liverpool bet but the odds were correct and it was the same double I put up in the Daily Record. Luckily we have geo to spot any mistakes.
Well done to all the winners last night and there were plenty with the Liverpool v PSG game going pretty much as we all expected.
On Wednesday it's the turn of Man City to take centre stage as the welcome Lyon. The English champions are outright favourites and a short price to start with three points.
I've tipped them to win the tournament at 13-2 and they should be there or thereabouts. I'm also taking them to win well against the French by at least two or three.
Man United also start their campaign and Young Boys away is a must-win as they're in a tough section with Juventus and Valencia. United should win but a best 3-4 is a little short.
I've posted a separate preview featuring the City and United games and have now added more tips. Apologies for being late but had to help the missus sort out a few things the got caught up in traffic with trees down everywhere.
And to cap it all I got a puncture on the way home had to limp into Kwik-Fit for a new tyre. So that's last night's winnings spent.

For a Super Single I'm on Cristiano Ronaldo at 4-1 to score first for Juventus in Valencia as he returns to Spain for the first time since leaving Real Madrid. He got off the mark with a double for Juve at the weekend and of course knows Valencia well.
Nothing major stands out in the Championship tonight but if pushed I'd take Middlesbrough to win, Nottm Forest draw no bet, Birmingham +1 and QPR draw no bet.

Yeah, I don’t know the reason why they are on a plastic pitch but it is what it is. At the end of the day United should still be winning this game whatever surface they play on. I do think Young Boys are going to put up a good fight though. I won’t be betting on this game.

I’ve noticed Norwich are actually favourites to win away at Norwich. Big word of warning, they are missing key forward Hernandez through injury. Daniel Farke himself admits they rely on him a lot. Reading got their first win of the season on Saturday and have deserved more points than they’ve got. Do think Reading are a little underestimated.
