AFTER working so hard to return the accas to profit I was rocked by Brighton on Tuesday night.
They beat my Top Treble by crashing to defeat at a Bournemouth side who suddenly sparked to life.
The goals treble was nowhere and Lazio suffered a night of misery as they downed the Super Single – losing an early goal, having a man sent off, wasted a penalty and seeing VAR rule out two goals.
While that was a nightmare for me it was a dream 90 minutes for andymac who among other things tipped both teams to see red at 28-1 and Lazio to miss from the spot at 18-1.
This were great tips and well done to all the other winners including SlipTips, Greg with his nap and Scott with his members bet. SlipsTips is on a good run of form and his latest match preview is on Leicester vs West Ham.
Other Premier League games are Spurs vs Norwich and Man United vs Burnley and in the Championship it's Charlton vs Fulham and Nottm Forest vs Reading.
There is a full Scottish Premiership card including Rangers vs St Mirren and Kilmarnock vs Celtic. The reasoning for my Scottish treble is posted on a separate Scottish preview.
Other games include Reims vs PSG in the French League Cup semis with the winners facing Lyon while it's Juventus vs Roma in the Italian Cup as well as a host of Spanish Cup clashes including Barcelona at Ibiza.
My Top Treble starts with Spurs at home to Norwich. Spurs have won nine in a row on Wednesday nights at home in the Premier League while the Canaries haven't won a Wednesday game in 15. Those stats convince me to take the home at around 1-2 despite having concerns about backing Spurs at such a short price.
In the Championship Nottm Forest are flying and after five wins in six have climbed to fifth and are looking good for the play-offs as Martin O'Neill starts to work his magic and should beat Reading at home.
My final choice is PSG in the French League Cup semis. It's the final tournament before it's scrapped and the champions want to get their hands on the trophy.
They rested Kylian Mbappe and Neymar for the weekend 1-0 win at Lorient in the French Cup but will be back to full strength. Can see PSG, who beat St Etienne 6-1 in the quarters, blowing away Reims and 2-5 on a straight win looks OK to me.

A league that can be excellent for goals is the italian u19 primavera. Usually I look out for the Roma side who are decent and is normally goal laden. They don’t play today although their last opposition Sampadoria (who beat Roma 4-3) are playing inter at 14:00.

Quality game between Arsenal Chelsea last night, for the first time in about 2 years the Arse had me off my sofa screaming for joy. May seem reactionary but to me, last night we finally turned a corner. The fight shown in the side was excellent and we were good value for the draw considering we played with 10 men for most of the game.
Arteta’s impact may not look like much since he’s arrived but dont let the results fool you, it has been MASSIVE.
Think people can start adding Arsenal to their accas again.
One bet that Im having a go on is, Arsenal to finish in the top 4 at 33/1.
10points off 4th but we have some really winnable fixtures now and the team looks rejuvenated under Arteta. Reasoning; Cresswell has picked up 6 bookings already this season. The last Forrest/reading game on 11th Jan had 19 corners so 14 seems decent. Motherwell playing well just now but this is my least fancied of the five. The last game with Juvy n Roma was 2-1 and I think this could be close again. Rangers will be looking to put down a marker and these two are never far away.
Personally I’ve done 25p on the trebles (10) and fourfolds (5) and £1.25 on the accy for a total of £5.
The minimum treble pays just over £23 so that pays same as a 7/2 shot and for four it returns around £200 n all five is just over £5k.
