IT'S been a really busy week and I need every minute of Friday to study and complete my Saturday write-ups.
Thankfully it's not a massive card although we have a Premier League offering in the shape of Cardiff v Wolves.
Not an easy one to call – Wolves are the better footballing side but Cardiff been battling hard at home and could be a draw. Kevinmac has posted a preview of this one.
I'll be watching Dundee United v Ayr in the Scottish Championship and I've posted a separate preview.
The FA Cup matches start with Blackpool v Solihull Moors and other matches include St Etienne v Nantes, Fortuna v Mainz and Rayo Vallecano who entertain the Eibar side that routed Real Madrid 3-0 last weekend.
There are the usual Ligue 2 and Eerste League games so watch out for tips being posted.
As usual on Friday my time is limited but I've picked out a treble and if it comes up would be a nice end to the month.
Last night Zurich beat my Top Treble and the both to score treble was a bit out so there won't be any profit after good figures in September and October.
Well done to all the winners on Friday and throughout the month. The site's been busier than ever and hopefully we're making a joint effort to steer punters in the right way.

Mr F having read a bit into the feelings between the 2 redbull sides and the apparent contempt they hold for each other. Here’s hoping we get the carve up nobody expected and Salzburg are happy too settle for a point in 2 weeks time and ensure the bully big brother Leipzig go out 😂
I’ve read a bit about it and fair play to Salzburg who want to show they’re more than a feeder team for Leipzig.
Also UEFA would have been watching last night’s game pretty closely having already warned them about the situation.
If Celtic play as they did against Leipzig at home they should get the point.
Both RB sides are very good teams and if Celtic can come through this group it is an achievement. If Rangers can get through also its much the same & been a good year for Scottish football despite what they southerners generally think. It’ll be tough in Vienna after their victory in Russia meaning all 4 can qualify still. 🤞 For both

What’s everyone’s thoughts on the fight this weekend? Fury to win at 5/4 and by decision at 9/4 seems like really good value to me.
I know Tyson is only on his way back, but if he is anywhere near the standard he was 3 years ago he must have a decent chance at that price?
Not disputing Wilders power at all, but will Big Tyson frustrate him and do what he does best?
Will be an interesting one this, styles make fights and we all know how unorthodox and awkward Fury could make it, I think the fight to go the distance at 11/10 has value and I’ll be having a stake on that then sit back and watch it all unfold
I’ve got a feeling for Fury, granted both fighters are unorthodox which makes it an even more fascinating contest. I’ve said for a while a fit Fury in my opinion could beat Joshua so I really hope he wins this and the Joshua/Fury fight becomes a reality.
This a fight I’m going to be purchasing and it ain’t often I buy on the PPV, I’ll be having a small wager on Fury.
Fury will get hammered.
Bold statement Macca, reasons? Or you just don’t rate him? I’ve never been his biggest fan, but when fit he is technically better than the rest of them.
Don’t rate Fury at all,the fight to be honest is a joke and all it is is a big pay day for Fury,he’s not fit enough by a long stretch (certainly not to go the distance)this is only my opinion though, wilder should win and keep his unbeaten record intact.
That’s a fair point in fairness, could all be huff and guff from Fury. Just looking to get paid. Wilder didn’t impress me in his last fight against Ortiz, hasn’t shared the ring with decent oppents yet. Suppose that doesn’t mean he won’t beat them.
Word is is that fury is donating all his purse to charity,so he’s not there to get beaten up in the name cash,Agreed that his fitness could be an issue.I think there’s value in backing fury all said though.
Yeah good luck being up at 5am for that fight lads you would have thought what with it being one of the most anticipated fights of the year that they would have scheduled the fight for a more friendly time for us Uk viewers e.g. 11pm midnight or 1pm but there you go they only care about the Us Market I suppose.
Baz – I’d be thinking the same re Fury by decision – you listen to ANY boxing pundit and they will all agree that Fury (I personally don’t like or rate him) is a far superior boxer to Wilder and is actually technically very gifted for a heavyweight.
Wilder is explosive and hits as hard as anyone out there but he is incredibly wayward tecnically and his lack of footwork will eventully be his undoing against a better fighter than Fury.
Fitness-wise, Fury isn’t inthe shape he was in before his meltdown but if he can avoid the wild bombs and box clever (which he can) using his huge reach, then he could make the distance and sneak it on points.
Be an interesting on but far from a classic despite the hype!
The old i’m donating to charity thing.Don’t be fooled by that, take Juan Mata who gives 1 percent of his earnings to charity,it’s nothing to a rich sportsman who can and will claim it all back on tax allowances, there not hero’s just not stupid. The giving to charity thing just enhances their reputation whilst saving on the tax bill at the same time.

Morning guys, one game I really like this weekend.
Eredivisie – Sunday
Feyenoord v PSV
This can be a tense game for PSV and Feyenoord have a chance to break PSV’s 13 game win streak. PSV have Lozano who is the most fouled player in the Eredivisie and I think Feyenoord will have a lot of problems to defend him. Referee is Gozubuyuk who handed out the most red cards until now, 4 reds in 10 games. He also handed out 30 yellow cards in 10 games and has given the most fouls of all Dutch referees.
Over 3.5 cards is priced at 1.80 and I also like the 2.95 available for over 4.5 cards
Both with unibet
I am also waiting for player card market. Feyenoord defender Botteghin looks likely to receive a card. He should have a lot of problems with the PSV forwards. He already injured a couple of strikers this season, Boadu (AZ) and Matavz (Vitesse).

Yet again the bookies are pricing up Carrarese at odds against 11/10 too score 2+ despite being the top scorers in Italys 14 divisions between Seria A-D with 34 goals. Last week they won 4-1 against 7th place Pisa and on Sunday they travel to a Pro Piacenza side that’s lost 6 of the last 7.
Carrarese have scored in 12/13 outings and have scored 2+ in 10 of those games. They’ve also conceded in 10 games while Pro Piacenza have netted in 8/11 and conceded in 9/11.

WHAT a match we have in store at Tannadice in this top of the table clash as League leaders Ayr United travel to a rejuvenated Dundee United and a win for the hosts would take them joint top, something unthinkable just 6 weeks ago
🏴Dundee United v Ayr United (7.45pm)
Clubs often get a lift when a new manager comes in, and that is certainly the case here when you look at the transformation since Robbie Neilson was appointed. A 5-1 hammering from Ross County then a 2-0 defeat at Ayr was the final straw as Shaba Laszlo was relieved of his duties.
In came Robbie Neilson and its been WDWWWWW – 16 points from 18 has propelled them to within touching distance of the top of the championship and it would be unthinkable for United with the budget they have to remain in the championship for another season.
They will be looking forward to this match and be full of confidence and I fancy them to get the three points in front of what should be a big home support.
Ayr have surprised everyone this season and I don’t think anyone would have expected them to adapt to life in the championship as well as they have. Manager Ian McCall has done a terrific job on a shoestring budget and with goal machine Lawrence Shankland spearheading their attack, you always fancy them to score
They have drawn their last 2 games (0-0 1-1) and this will be their toughest test of the season – I just feel its going to be a bridge too far. Wouldn’t have touched Dundee United 6 weeks ago but they are flying at the moment and the momentum is definitely with them, on top of that, they are at home.
Taking Dundee United to continue their terrific form under their new manager and go level on points with Ayr
Recommended Bet
•Dundee United to beat Ayr United
•11/10 (Bet365) (Nap)
•Dundee United over 1.5 Goals

Will also be on the usual Specials in France Ligue 2 (First half goals and over 1.5 match goals
Its been a really difficult league this season in Ligue 2, no stand out teams, fewer goals and erratic form. Of the 20 teams, the fact only one tem has won back to back games in the last two weeks tells its own story.
I’ve had a good look through tonight’s games and have picked two bets for small stakes
Troyes are in decent shape and travel to second bottom Red star while are in terrible form a the moment.
Troyes are finding their feet in this league now and should be good enough to collet three points
Troyes to beat Red Star (11/8) (Skybet)
Matches at Valenciennes and Le Harve over 1.5 goals (20/23) (William Hill)
Hi Greg, I’ve been away from the site for a few weeks. Are you not on the Ligue 2 first half and full time scores anymore?
Ignore me. Didn’t read your post in full. D’oh.
Hi mate – sure am, have updated the thread as was short on time earlier and wanted to get the NAP up
Surprised to see the odds on a Manchester United win so high against an abysmal Southampton.
I don’t see Southampton having the firepower to score against us. One reason for my optimism as a United fan this weekend.
Dalot is confirmed starting and I believe he’s going to create a big change to our pedestrian right wing. He loves to surge forward and has speed to recover in defense, with Sanchez also out it pretty much confirms Martial to start which is another big plus.
As always I tend to wait on the team news before betting on United nowadays, Mourinhos inconsistencies and head scratching tactics at times put me well off.
Fred played marvellous in mid-week albeit against a Poor side, hopefully Mourinho will start him and drop Matic.
Enough rambling. I’m feeling confident with a United -1 AH @ 2.6 on 365.
I might change that come Saturday evening if Fellani and some other duds start.
To be fair there are a lot more consistent duds at United other than Fellani who is a player who on quite a few occasions has been the go to player to cause problems in the opposition defence and to get United out of bother.
My point probably got lost Sean but Fellani should not be starting in a Midfield that involves Matic & Pogba he’s a great bench option and that’s that.
I think the way United are playing just taking them to win is a risk but at the price on offer it would be stupid not to.Southampton are desperate for the points and the bookies know this hence the 10/11 on United to win.I deffo think United will win but wether they can win by two i’m not sure.
honestly, Sanchez being out injured is one of the best things that could happen for United right now. i’m genuinely glad he’s out. waste of space, and a disruptive one at that. I fancy the lads to do the job and expect the youngsters to step up, and put another nail in unfortunate Hughesy’s managerial coffin

Afternoon gents,
Looking ahead to tonight and there are 3 games for any Night Owls out there to have a scout at; there is 2 NZ Youth matches at 2200 and 2300 which I’ll look at later and also one game from Paraguay that I’ll focus on now…
NACIONAL ASUNCIÓN VS. 3 DE FEBRERO (2200 KO):
I’ll not lie, this is a speculative couple of selections but having looked at the game in detail, I’m just not at all convinced with the prices for an off-colour Nacional side who have seen more skidmarks than Craneguy’s knicker thong collection.
Asuncion-based hosts Nacional are without a league win in 10 and haven’t even won at home in their last 6 consecutive matches – that’s pretty unprecedented stuff for the side who, despite being the less successful of the capital sides, are more used to sitting amongst the top 4.
3 de Febero’s form may mirror Nacionals but it isn’t quite as damning and certainly, their most recent games have seen plenty more action in front of goal; the last 4 matches have finished with scorelines of 3-1, 4-4, 5-0 and 4-1 with the 4 goals away from home against the mighty Libertad just 2 weeks ago really standing out.
Not a bet for the faint-hearted but something’s just not right with Nacional – two to consider and reduced stakes a necessity:

Cardiff Wolves..
Can’t call it and after the abysmal performance last Sunday I really don’t know what will happen. Some fans booed the players off the pitch… totally disagree with it myself but that certainly won’t happen tonight as us travelling away won’t entertain it.
Heading off to Cardiff in the next half hour so I’ll get my preview up now.
I’d expect changes. I think we may be wise to drop Moutinho for this game as the partnership of him and neves seem to struggle against overly physical sides and Cardiff are certainly physical.
Atmosphere will be roaring tonight as we don’t like warnock anyway and after our last trip to Cardiff in April we like him less.
As for the game I don’t know what to say. Heart says that the players will come out fighting and could very well win this one well. Head says I’m leaving it alone from a betting point of view.
I may have more thoughts later but they’ll be fuelled by alcohol.
Gut says maccas Btts and overs isn’t a bad bet. We can certainly concede. Worry where our goals are coming from though but I do think we’re the better team tonight and as long as the players regain their balls again I think I could offer a tentative win to wolves (1-2,1,3)
FWAW
As a fellow Wolf who expected us to roll over Huddersfield last week I can’t disagree with you. I have had a dabble tonight and its on the 5/6 for over 3.5 card on Bet365.
On one hand I can make a case for us to react positively and stuff Cardiff but on the other hand it could go the other way. I don’t think a point would be a bad result tonight…Warnock and Cardiff will want some revenge for last season and the atmosphere should be hot to say the least.
I can’t see anything other than a Wilder win by KO. There is no question of who the better boxer is; Fury can switch hit, ride shots, has excellent boxing fundementals and has great ring generalship BUT he has one major flaw to his game and that is when he gets into range he often has his hands down…
Wilder can do literally nothing in this fight up to the point where he gets a good connect with that right hand and that could be it. Fury is certainly a bit “chinny” as well. He got floored by a cruiserweight in Steve Cunningham, Neven Pakjic put him down while Chisora buzzed him badly in their first fight. The common theme with all of these is that Fury took shots while his hands were down when in punching range. Wilder can detonate that right hand very quickly and he nearly always puts full leverage into the shot so if he gets a good connect anywhere near the temple area, Fury will go down and possibly won’t get up.
At the end of the day boxing is an elite sport. Fury must be applauded for shedding well over 100lbs but you cannot abuse your body with booze, cocaine, and junk food and expect to come back as you were before. I think you could see in the Pieneta fight that Fury had lost a bit of his speed and at certain points was getting walked down. So I see Wilder winning by KO or decision if Fury does make it to the final bell via a few knockdowns. I’m not betting on this though – never like to bet on the super fights, Im just going to watch and enjoy it for however long it lasts. Really hope Fury can pull it off!
I got Fury @13/10 a while back.
Not big stakes though, just enjoying the fight and maybe getting 20 shekels or so depending on the result.
If Fury is victorious he’d have to go down as the greatest heavyweight of this generation. To beat a super champion in Klitschko in his back yard and to then beat the WBC Champion Wilder in his after overcoming numerous demons would take some topping.

Cardiff are one of the worst teams I’ve ever watched in the premier league
Warnock doesn’t coach teams to play football but rather to rough the opposition up and lump the ball into the box
The lunchtime kick-off they had against Brighton the other week was atrocious although partly down to poor officiating they never should have won
They have no quality in the team and seem to be using callum Patterson & sol bamba as a pair of battering rams to get goals
There’s no doubt in my mind wolves are the better side and they will find a way to win this game , but due to Cardiff’s anti football nature and wolves poor form I just can’t see where the goals are going to come from the bookies clearly feel the same with under 2.5 priced @ 4/7
The only danger being if wolves score early on Cardiff will fall to bits allowing wolves to batter them on the counter
With all this being said Theres a couple of angles I like

All tonights games in the Eerste divisie have odds between 1.36 and 1.61 for over 2.5 goals, but there is 1 game where they have it at 1.87-1.90. I think that is way too big for this game or any game at this level. Both teams have some excellent attacking players. Oss have Dogan who scored 13 in 15 games, Roda have Engels who scored 12 in 15. I can see both teams scoring here. Oss also could get 3 goals themselves.

Over 2.5 goal double in the Bremen & Hoffenheim games (6/4). Double: Corner in the 1st 10 min in the City & Palace games (11/8). Boxing: No doubt about the biggest sporting event this weekend. As soon as the fight was announced I said I’d be on Fury and nothings changed. Obviously you always gotta be cautious as this is the heavyweight division so anything can happen. Wilder is rattled & will be looking for that 1 big shot but I fully expect the Gypsy King to outclass him and put on a show! That would setup the AJ fight & although I like him, I reckon Fury would outbox him as well. Plenty casuals giving there 2 cents who have no clue tbh but there’s alot of excellent write-ups out there so go have a read. Fury is a bit mental but to be world class you’ve got to have a screw loose. There’s levels to this & even with all his issues, Fury is a class above. Enjoy
Surely the biggest sporting event this wknd is the League Cup Final on Sunday where Messiah Rodgers can keep up his 100% record and pick up his 7th trophy on the trot…
Ha ha yip something for everyone this weekend. Good luck to your lads.
Not sure about the ‘casuals who haven’t got a clue’ @gunner – the lads who have posted on here have all put pretty damn accurate reasoning behind their thoughts for either Fury or Wilder.
Good luck and enjoy the fight sir!

The visitors are playing all the football, while the Tangerines are trying to gather some snow on the ball.
Mr fixit I you part of this bookmarks, how can post dundee United to beat ayr and in real sense ayr top the the table please it’s not fair when we loose our money cause of what you post, it’s better to be no bet than your followers loose money please
Looks like gambling’s not for you mate.
Maybe best keep your money with Christmas just around the corner…😕
please do not come along and make statements like this to a man who has been helping the nation of gamblers this years and trying his best, its football and anything can happen. as a gambler you should know that but i dont see you post too often. No one slating you so please dont slate paul
Myself, Greg Browning and Mark Walker – a really good Scottish tipster in the Racing Post – all backed Dundee United tonight for various reasons.
In football sometimes there are strange results and while Ayr winning wasn’t a huge shock the margin of victory was.
I always put up tips I want to win and lost on Dundee United – you make the decision whether to bet or not and every bet is a gamble.
€132.41 santa clara game over 2.5 fhg returns €238.33
Then who is for?
Not sure if boxing tips are welcome on here but Tyson Fury to beat Wilder looks a cracking bet. Furys boxing IQ is second to non in the HW division his footwork is the best in the division, he has got under Wilders skin no doubt about it, Furys work on the inside is under rated and Wilder on the inside is as good as useless, Fury was born to fight. Fury steps up the bigger the fight and vetter the opposition, although i hardly rate Wilder tbh. I see nothing but a Fury win here.

When are Wolves going to learn.Get the Basics right then attack. The Premier League is another level to the championship, from what i am watching Wolves look doomed.
Superb Macca, well in
Nice shout Macca!
Poland did the business but a surprising damp squib at Palermo downs the efforts. Onto tomorrow.
Think I owe Ayr United an apology 😧
Dundee United 16 points from 18 then get batterd 0-5 at home
I wonder who Shankland will be playing for next season
Nice pick with Troyes Greg but don’t think anyone seen the Dundee United result coming…fair play to Ayr though.
He’ll be playing for someone bigger than Ayr – that’s for sure.
Some Rangers fans are calling for Gerrard to make a bid.
The boy playing down the left for Ayr Utd tonight (forgot his name), also looked a decent player, Paul.
Had the Tangerines’ defence all over the place most of the game.

Well if carlsberg did Fridays…it wouldn’t be this one 🙈
Palermo 0-0
Dundee United beaten 5-0
Sparta beaten 3-0
Where did the Dundee United and Sparta results come from…here’s hoping for a better weekend.
WD all winners tonight 👍
=————————————————-
Fancy Palermo tonight, really good home form, won 5, drew 2 out of 7 at home this season, against a Benevento side that have lost 2 and drawn 1 of last 3 away games. Just think even money for top of the league team at home that are on a good run offers some value.
I’ll be adding to a treble
Dundee United (agree with Greg) 11-10
Sparta Rotterdam 8-15
Palermo Evs
All to win
Treble pays just under 11-2
Good luck all tonight with your bets 👍
Arka Gdynia v Jagiellonia Bialystok – Both Teams To Score And Overs @ 5/4 – WON 👍

Over 3.5mgs 4/5
Over 4.5mgs 7/4
Good luck
Lost 1-1 poor
With the main Night Owl home and hosed on the half-hour mark, I’m looking at a late pick in SA that could deliver the goods despite appalling looking stats…
NEWELL’S OLD BOYS VS. PATRONATO (0015 KO):
The irony of Newell’s Old Boys’ name conjuring up images of a shrivelled up todger is only beaten by perhaps the worst thought out club logo in team football (have a look) and on the surface, it looks like they can’t rise to any challenge.
But, it’s always worth turning over a few extra stones when looking for value and in this case look beyond both teams general form and filter both home and away matches for both respectively…it paints a very different picture.
I won’t trot the lot out but NOB have hit at least a brace in 7 of their last 11 home matches despite their overall underwhelming form – couple this with Patronata conceding 25 in their last consecutive 12 away games and we may have a plan!
N.O.B…OVER 1.5 TGS…19/20
(Coral)
🌟🌟🌟
Good luck!
1-0 …LOST
Like Esmerelda says – sometimes you’ve got to take a hunch 😀
3 DE FEB GOAL BEFORE 75:00…5/6

3 DE FEB OVER 1.5 TGS…31/10

Well done tonight.
Cheers Mr F…cock-a-hoop with those two as was a tough decision and well against the bookies thoughts.
Profit diluted a bit by the NZ Youth game mind – 1-1 after 9 minutes so massive cover but finished a goal shy at 2-2 somehow!
