IT says a lot for my taste but Bury v Lincoln on Saturday and last night's Barnet v Brentford game are two of the best I've seen this season.
Barnet's FA Cup draw helped down my treble but their fighting spirit was outstanding and if it hadn't been for a blatant dive that won a penalty the non-leaguers could have caused a mighty shock in the Battle of the Bees.
Last night's three legs were losers on the treble but all were shock results and for the person trolling me on yesterday's thread all I'll say is: Show me your tips!
I gave reasoning for each one and plenty of people were backing Empoli and Alaves for straight wins while I had enough doubts to keep the draw in the draw. If anyone took draw at Barnet and aways for Genoa and Vallecano I doff my hat to you as the treble would have paid around 45-1.
Plenty of games on my radar tonight with six matches in the Premiership including Newcastle vs Man City and Man United vs Burnley and I've posted a separate preview as well as my thoughts on the Scottish Cup replays between Stenny (remember them) v Aberdeen and Queen of South v Dundee.
Elsewhere there are Championship, League One and League Two matches as well as league games on the Continent and I've spent the morning with my friend RFO before deciding on my tips.
For a Top Treble I'm taking Man City -1 and Man United & over 2.5 match goals plus Swansea draw no bet at home to Birmingham. Swansea's form is decent while the Blues have lost three in a row so form shouts out home win but it's Garry Monk going back to one of his former clubs and he could stir his players into life.
My other bets are a goals treble and moneyback fivefold. The latter is advised for 1pt but admittedly is a little speculative as I try to reduce the monthly losses with three days to go. However, I'm happy to risk 1pt to win 18pts.
If none of these bets are for you don't do them – go with someone else on the site or try your own. Also please consider cover bets or cashouts (as long it's a good offer). My stats would be better if I included those and maybe next season I will if they've been commented on or advised.
