IT was a pretty quiet Tuesday night especially on the goals front and sometimes that happens when weakened sides are played in cup ties.
I didn't fancy much but expected Livingston to beat Falkirk so that cost me a 2pts Super Single. My Top Treble was put up late and I needed a Stenhousmuir winner at Cowdenbeath to land a winner.
Well done to anyone who cashed in and I haven't yet checked Greg's goals result at St Mirren Under-20s.
Wednesday's a better night with two more Carabao Cup quarter-finals – Chelsea v Bournemouth and Bristol City v Man United – as well as ties in Italy, Germany and Holland. There's a full Ligue 1 card and two La Liga games.
Both Chelsea and Bournemouth will rotate their squads but the Blues should be too strong.
Paul Pogba could start for Man United and Zlatan Ibrahimovic may feature at a high-flying Championship side missing six players through injury. Again United should get the job done to make it a star-studded semi-final line-up alongside Arsenal and Man City.
Celtic try to bounce back from their mauling by Hearts at home to Partick Thistle and I've posted a separate preview.
So plenty to look at and I'm going with top teams in the cup in the belief they will play strong enough line-ups to win. Taking a fivefold with moneyback insurance.

I live in Bristol and can tell you now that it won’t be 5-0 to United. There is a real buzz about this game, everyone’s talking about it.. there’s a buzz about the team too, who are in great form at the minute.
This is one of the biggest games in our history, a club that we believe should be in the Premier League. If you think this will be a walk over, you’re very wrong. Home crowd will make it extra difficult for United too.

Bet365 suspend the market with 5mins play left, bayern game was placed ten mins from.time with one card needed and Bristol game was placed after the opener with two cards needed.
All premiership tv games have inplay then the majority of other tv games but there has been times I’ve went on and no market so can be a hit or miss.
Skybet do inolay cards but it is normally totals more space out like over 45, over 75 etc.
Bet365 card market is really good inplay especially for tight Spanish games as they love a tackle and refs love a card, also when games mean life or death, must win games, cup semi finals, finals etc.
It is a market that can be highly rewarding if you are strict with yourself, don’t bet for the sake of it, yes there may be times it comes in and you never backed it but I have been caught out at times as well and learned my lesson. Stick with what you know and you won’t go far wrong.
