Mark Walker's Scottish Tips

Motherwell have been one of the real surprise packets this season and they look a solid bet at home to see off Falkirk.

New Fir Park boss Jens Berthel Askou's appointment was not universally met with approval by the Well punters, but they are all full-on converts now after witnessing just what he wants his side to do.

They are probably the most entertaining side in the league right now and the Dane proved he wouldn't bin his attacking principles in the last round of games before the international break when they led Celtic at Parkhead.

Only a goalkeeper howler – which is their weak point – and a last minute winner for Celtic stopped them walking away with a point.

They face a Falkirk side who held Rangers to a draw in their last game which ultimately cost Russell Martin his job.

And although John McGlynn has done a fine job, they still lack that little bit of quality and Well can get the job done at Fir Park at 20/21 with McBookie.com.

Clyde seem to be the subject of a gamble every single season to finally escape the bottom flight only to spectacularly flop but they look the real deal this season under Darren Young.

And they look an excellent value to continue their good form by winning at Forfar Athletic at 8/5 with McBookie.com.

They haven't lost in the league since August and have won three and drawn the other games in League Two in their last four games and that draw was against title favourites East Kilbride.

In contrast, Forfar are bottom of the last six-games form table having won just one of their last six league games.

The Bully Wee have plenty of goals in them and should have too much for the Loons at Station Park.

Take a chance of Kilmarnock double chance to burst the Hearts bubble on Saturday night.

Like Motherwell fans, Killie supporters were less than thrilled at the appointment of manager Stuart Ketttlewell to replace Hearts-bound Derek McInnes.

Everyone knows about the start Hearts have made and of course they got that last gasp derby win against Hibs last week, but there have been times they have looked vulnerable away from Tynecastle at places like Dundee United, Livingston and St Mirren.

Kettlewell has Killie up to third with a new look side and their fans would love to put one over McInnes. They are odds against at 21/20 with McBookie.com to at least draw and that is enticing.
