Mark Walker's Scottish Tips

IT'S a full midweek Scottish Premiership card and Kilmarnock look the pick of the bunch to beat freefalling Aberdeen at Rugby Park.

The Dons looked like they had turned the corner after two league wins against Dundee and St Mirren after a nightmare start to the campaign.

But the Scottish Cup winners have reverted to type with a pair of truly horrific displays when they got away with a 6-0 defeat at AEK Athens which saw the hosts hit the woodwork multiple times in the Europa Conference League.

And ignore the scoreline of a 2-1 defeat to Hibs on Sunday. The capital side missed so many one-on-one chances, the result flattered the Dons.

They are defensively suspect, weak all over the pitch and have a squad full of players with no confidence being played out of position.

Killie have had a wobble recently, but love a match at home against the Dons – they have won the last four at Rugby Park.

Back them at a generous 7/4 with McBookie.com.

Hibernian will get plenty of chances against a Rangers side who cannot keep clean sheets and the call is for Hibs to score goals two or more tomorrow at 11/8 with McBookie.com.

David Gray's side are an exciting attacking unit going forward and they could and should have scored at least five at Pittodrie on Sunday.

Rangers at least look like they might be better organised under new boss Danny Rohl, but major doubts remain about their defence.

They have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last seven games and look vulnerable when attacked.

Perhaps Rangers might have enough to equal Hibs in an attacking front and so it's safer to back the hosts at a still-attractive price to net at least two.

Hibs have scored seven goals in their past two games at Easter Road and with the Leith crowd behind them, can add to that tally.

Hearts stormed eight points clear at the top of the Premiership after a superb win against crisis club Celtic at the weekend.

But the one place they have hit a blip this season was at St Mirren in the League Cup and they return to Paisley tomorrow.

And St Mirren double chance at evens with McBookie.com is well worth a go.

Stephen Robinson's side are a nightmare to play against at their home – they will get in Hearts' faces and this is a huge test of their title credentials.

Hearts have won on just one of their last eight visits to Paisley and the Buddies are worth a double go.
