ENGLAND will have to do without their all-time leading Test wicket taker James Anderson for today's series opener against Pakistan at Lord's.

Anderson is still out with a shoulder injury while there's a debut for Nottinghamshire bowler Jake Ball with the hosts also having rejigged their batting line-up.

England, who beat Sri Lanka 2-0 earlier in the summer, are 10-11 at Stan James to claim victory in the opener and 5-12 at marathonbet to come out on top in the the four-match series.

Pakistan, with bowling star Mohammed Amir returning to Test cricket at the scene of his spot-fixing shame in 2010, are 39-10 at 10bet to start with a win – the draw pays 11-4 at Skybet – and 11-2 at Paddy Power for series victory.

In the Tour de France Chris Froome tightened his grip on the yellow jersey yesterday and is 9-4 favourite at Skybet to claim the stage 12 honours today.

There's also the likes of tennis and rugby league on the sporting schedule today so post your tips and chat here and good luck with your bets.

Cycling: Tour de France 2016 stage 12

    Time trial tomorrow.

    Match-up:
    Mollema to beat Aru @ 1.60 with 888 – 25 points

Mollema will be fired up after today’s shambles and looks like he is with the best 3 riders in the race. He said he looks forward to this TT and it will suit him with 2 short climbs. Not so impressed by Aru this Tour.
