A DECENT day three yesterday with 3 placed horses including the 33-1 shot in the first which helped me wash my face for the day. Looking to step it up today with some more winners.
DAAHYEH in the first race at 2.30pm has had the form franked massively by Raffle Prize on Wednesday and is an obvious one. I had been looking at Last Surprise as an alternative when it was a double figure price but the money has come now and the current prices are a bit too short.
For the 3.05pm, PABLO ESCOBARR is my each way alternative against Japan who I think is a risky favourite. He should finish in the places at least.
Frankie rides ADVERTISE in the 3:40pm and similar to the previous race this is one where I think the each way prospect is attractive. Ten Sovereigns is too short despite being the obvious favourite.
The value bet of the day for me is TWIST N SHAKE in the 4.20pm also ridden by Frankie. Ground, trip, jockey all ideal and she looks like one who could spring a surprise. I would rate Hermosa as a solid enough favourite so if even money bets are your thing don’t let me put you off. I would just rather look for the progressive one at double figure odds.
In the 5.00pm I think it will be a royal winner for the Queen with MAGNETIC CHARM and I’m very surprised we can get 9-1 on the horse at this stage especially with 6 place on offer from some bookies. Haggas is in lovely form and this filly’s classy half-sister Usherette enjoyed a bit of cut in the ground so I’m confident she will too.
For the 5.35pm I’m still undecided but may post a selection later this afternoon once I see how the track is riding so keep your eyes peeled.
