Today’s Free Racing Tips: Shoot To Kill holds every chance of going in again

It wasn’t a great weekend in regards to selections. I had a no bet day yesterday and both my selections on the Friday and today were extremely disappointing.

I wasn’t planning on putting up any selections till next Friday but I wanted to jump on and give a mention to Master Tommy Tucker. I was a great admirer of that horse and unfortunately this will always be the downside to this sport and why I will always prefer the flat racing to the jumps as you rarely see these sort of injuries.

I felt physically sick when I seen the fall, when I see such injuries it completely puts me off wanting to punt on these jump races but it’s all part of the sport and unfortunately that’s just the way it is. If you love the sport and not just the punting side of it I’m sure I’m not the only one on here who feels this way.

Just gone for the one selection tomorrow from Kempton.

I think Shoot To Kill holds a decent chance of being involved in the finish tomorrow.

He’s hit the frame on last 5 starts and has strung together a hat-trick of wins over the last couple of months at over 7f – 1m1f.

He stays these trips very well and has a nice turn of foot when it comes to knuckling down to try and go on and take the race by the scruff.

He makes a quick reappearance after winning a class 3 handicap at Lingfield yesterday.

Trainer Roybn Brisland has booked 7lb claimer Harry Davies to help aid that penalty. Harry’s already had a couple of winners this month on Desert Lime and Coolagh Magic so he’s not on bad form for a young apprentice.
