I HAVE a speculative one at Huntingdon on Sunday that I thought was worthwhile sharing.
I mentioned BRAGANZA BAY on the Gambla Racing Podcast on Friday night and prices are now available. He is a general 12/1 which seems fair to me in the context of the race. This is his second entry that I'm aware of but his previous entry at Taunton never materialised because the meeting was cancelled. Henry Daly is capable of readying one first time out and the thing that caught my eye was the booking of Richard Johnson, both at the abandoned Taunton meeting and this time. Daly always turns to Johnson when he has a good one and it seems to me that there is an understanding that he doesn't book Dickie when the horse needs the run. The horse is nicely bred and Daly's record in bumpers is not to be sniffed at so whilst there is no way of knowing with any confidence how Braganza Bay will run on racecourse debut he is worth chancing at a nice each way price.
