Sunday’s Free Racing Tips: Lower Street Can Go In Again

It was a great day with my NAP Mister Fisher won nicely. He travelled well into the race and jumped the last beautifully to go on from Eldorado Allen. As expected Rouge Vif didn’t stay the trip and Defi Du Seuil very much looks a lost cause.

My other two selections were both in the same race. My main fancy was Corach Rambler to place at 7/4 and with most firms paying out 4 places and given his recent form I thought it was a decent bet at a decent price. He looks well beaten and somehow managed to plug on and nick 4th spot which was enough to give me another winning selection.

The place market I get isn’t everyone’s cup of tea as I’ve said before but if you’ve a 15 runner field and you are getting the 2nd or 3rd favourite at 7/4 to simply place and the selection as a clear chance I personally think it’s a great bet.

Jerrysback each way at 20/1 was my 2nd choice in that race, he too ran a blinder and finished 5th just behind Corach Rambler.

Sundays card isn’t the greatest apart from a couple of decent races from Punchestown. Dysart Dynamo and Bob Olinger are both to short to win their races so I’ve decided to look elsewhere.

Lower Street for David Simcock and ridden by Martin Dwyer was the only combination that caught my eye.

He finished 3rd at this venue last month when attempting to land a hat trick and faced tougher opposition that day than he does tomorrow.

With only a 5 runner field and 2 of the runners he’s previously beaten already (La Hulotte and Cherokke Dance) he looks the one to beat back at this level.

I thought Engrave at 10s was an interesting runner upped in trip but don’t think he’ll have the measure of my selection.
