Sunday's card is one of the best cards I’ve seen in a long time. Punchestown and Cork in particular are the meetings of the day.

To touch on Saturday's selection briefly. Benson was extremely disappointing, didn’t travel at all and was constantly being pushed to close the gap a fair way from home.

In general there was a lot of upsets on Saturday with a lot of big names failing to land a blow or get involved.

Worst ride of the day had to be Skelton on Third Time Lucki. I’m all for front running rides and Skelton is normally one of the best in the game at doing it but he absolutely hammered around that track and I knew about a mile from home he was never going to last. Edward Stone looks a nice sort and well done to the few who picked that one out.

I’ve gone for a NAP single tomorrow from the meeting at Punchestown.

Punchestown 2:25

What an absolutely brilliant race this is set up to be. A 10 runner field with Mullins running seven out of the 10. Although Mullins runs seven I still feel HDB holds the cards with Envoi Allen.

He lost a bit of his magic last season but he's returned from surgery and looked backed to his best last time at Down Royal where he travelled beautifully and his jumping was flawless.

He won that particular race by a wide margin of 22 lengths!

The main pointer with Envoi Allen is when he gets into the groove he’s 9 times out of 10 not for catching and with Blackmore in the saddle you know there’s always a strong possibility of her doing just that.

Mullins main runner Allaho and O’Briens Fakir D’Oudairies look the main dangers. Both of them are strong travellers over this trip and will make this a proper tactical affair.

Although I’ve finally made my mind up to go with Envoi Allen, Fakir D'Oudairies in particular was the one that had me scratching my head. I really struggled to choose between the pair.

Fakir D’Oudairies looked really good in the Clonmel Oil Chase and is actually rated higher than my selection. I just feel Envoi's jumping is superior to anything else and as previously mentioned that ability to get into a rhythm and have the rest of the field at it is how I see this race folding out.

Good luck everyone
