Sunday’s Free Racing Tips: Danilo D’iary can take advantage of heavy ground

It was a no bet day for me yesterday, the sole reason was the only selection I had in mind was already selected by Rizz. Fanion D’estruval ran a great race carrying top weight but unfortunately was nabbed in the dying stages.

I have 2 selections for Sunday and my NAP is one who I think can take advantage of the ground conditions at Lingfield.

1:20 – Lingfield

Sundays card isn’t the greatest however there was one selection that caught my eye that I think could outrun his odds at 8/1.

Current market favourite Ballygrifincottage is a worthy favourite for the Skeltons. However given the ground conditions at Lingfield I thought Danilo D’iary was a decent bet. I’ve opted to use the bet without favourite market as part of my bet as I thought 5/1 was still a cracking price.

Danilo D’airey seems to handle heavy ground conditions quite well. He comes into this contest fresh after his victory on heavy ground over 3m 1f at Ffos Las. He doesn’t have the obvious class on paper as the Skelton runner and 2nd market favourite FameAfterTheGlory however my selection's ability to handle the ground conditions has to be taken into consideration.

I don’t see much else in the field proving a threat and if one of the market leaders doesn’t show up we could have a nice sweat.

3:00 – Lingfield

What a cracking race this is. I’ve decided to go with the old boy Bristol de Mai who still has bags of potential. Bristol De Mai takes a significant drop in trip and grade for this race on Sunday.

He pulled up last time out at Haydock over 3m2f but that was a competitive race and when the race quickened he was quickly outpaced.

I think this drop in trip and grade will see him in better light. If showing up on his A-game the grey should be hard to beat at not a bad price of 11/4
