SATURDAY sees loads of high class racing from Sandown and Aintree. All of my tips and analysis for the eight ITV races are featured on this week's Gambla Racing Podcast so give it a listen.
A summary of the selections are as follows:
Aintree 1.30pm
I like WANDRIN STAR and LE BREUIL in this one who are both big each way prices. Take the extra places on offer from firms like Paddy Power and William Hill.
Sandown 1.5opm
NO BET for me in this race. A tricky juvenile race where I couldn't find an angle into the race so I'm passing it by.
Aintree 2.05pm
Also NO BET in this one although it should be an excellent race to watch.
Sandown 2.25pm
SONG FOR SOMEONE is the selection here in quite an open race where I thought this one would be a good bit shorter in the betting .
Aintree 2.40pm
Despite being a short priced favourite I think NATIVE RIVER is a very good bet at the prices. Might Bite is his main rival and is far from guaranteed to run to his best whereas Native River is consistent and honest.
Sandown 3.00pm
JANIKA is the one I am very keen on here as an each way shout. I think Daryl Jacob might have picked the wrong horse to ride (if indeed that is what happened because there may be other reasons) and Janika looks like the one with the most potential for improvement.
Aintree 3.15pm
I'm going for two in this one too. I think DIDERO VALLIS will improve for his seasonal return and is one that has plenty of potential for improvement in a race with a lot of exposed chasers. The other one I like at a huge price is BEAU BAY who has bits and pieces of form that give him a chance here if we forgive his last run.
Sandown 3.35pm
SHARP RESPONSE looks like a good each way value bet in another competitive race. He enjoys the marathon trip and hasn't been penalised too much for his win last time. In these testing races it can often help to side with horses in form who will be in the mood for it.
