Tomorrow is another busy Saturday with plenty of competitive racing to get tucked into.
Marie’s Diamond 20/1 EACH WAY – Haydock 1:45
I could be going absolutely bonkers on this one but I think Roger Teals Marie’s Diamond could represent a bit of value in this race at 20/1.
He’s not in the same sort of prime form as he once was but he is a former group 3 winner and his recent run at York when finishing 3rd ahead of the heavily fancied Mighty Ulysses was a cracking effort and you could argue it’s possibly a spark back to form…
The form of that previous run I think is pretty good, the 2nd that day finest sound went on to run another cracking race when finishing 2nd at Goodwood behind the improving Jadoomi. Finest sound also finished ahead of the short market-priced favourite Mutasaabeq that day.
Marie’s Diamond is up against a lot of improving youngsters such as Reach for the moon and triple time but as we seen yesterday with Oh This Is Us turning over Al Marmar these younger horses can be done over by older horses.
Marie’s Diamond tends to go from the front so hopefully, you’ll at least get a run for your money at 20/1 if you do decide on having a bet.
