LAST Saturday was a good one with my headline tip Stoney Mountain coming from the clouds to win at 16-1.
Those wins are what it’s all about and I’ve got quite a few big priced picks for Saturday so let’s hope we can get another one or two who get their head in front.

A summary of my tips are as follows:
I’m taking a pint on SNOW LEAPORDESS in this one. She looked a potentially classy horse before injury in 2017 and hasn’t been seen since so we’re taking a big chance but we’re getting a nice price.
It’s NO BET for me in this race with Buveur D’Air an obvious favourite who should win at very short odds.
My selection for this one was FANFAN DU SEUIL but he is now a non-runner and I don’t have an obvious replacement.
This is the highlight of the day, the Ladbrokes Trophy and there are plenty of the 24 runners who are in with a shout. There are two that I fancy the first of which is YALA ENKI who is now with Paul Nicholls. He goes well fresh and will enjoy the trip and the ground conditions. He might be vulnerable to a young improver but equally he shouldn’t be a 25-1 shot.
My other choice is ROBINSFIRTH who is still lightly raced and will be well suited by the soft ground and testing trip. Again, he should be shorter than 25-1 in my book.
ROCK ON FRUITY is a big price for a horse who is a course and distance winner and will enjoy the heavy ground. He is definitely worth an each way punt.
This is a really competitive race but I like ASHOKA who I think can curry favour with the punters. He is a progressive horse who will need to step up in class again to win this but is better placed than most to do so.
