Justanotherbottle was a valiant 2nd place for us yesterday in the big race at Beverley, with the winner doing it extremely well. As for Royal Scimitar, he was apparently warm before the race in the parade ring, which would've been one of the reasons for a poor run.

Just the one selection for me today, as even though there are a couple of decent race in France and in England, they all seem tough to call. I am siding with TORO STRIKE to bounce back to form in a race which he went close in last year.
He was a neck second in this race last year, finishing behind Happy Power. This track clearly brings the best out of him as he has ran three times at the track and has ran solid races on every occasion. I said that he needs to bounce back to form, but that might be a tad unfair, as he finished 6th in a Group 2 at this track, finishing 3.25 lengths behind the winner, Kinross. That race was strong for the Grade, as the form of has been boosted by Space Blues who won at the York festival last week. That was a decent run by Toro Strike who clearly prefers a faster surface, so the Soft ground that day wouldn't have been ideal. Today, he should get the fast ground which he acts best on, and that should allow him to run a nice race. This race is easier than his most recent assignment, and he should appreciate that.
The in form horses of Rhoscolyn and Double Or Bubble will be strong in the betting, but whether they are up to this task is up for debate. Rhoscolyn was second in a Listed race at Pontefract, but you could probably say the race fell apart that day and he was flattered to be 2nd in a Listed race. Double Or Bubble also recently won a Pontefract Listed race, and once again I'm not sold on the form. The form of her finish behind Highfield Princess would bring her into this, but there's still question marks to be answered about her.
Ryan Moore appears to be an interesting jockey booking for Richard Fahey, who rarely uses Ryan.

Another disastrous Ryan Moore ride on Japan last night, should have won the race comfortably but for his incompetence.
Can’t see him being to enthusiastic riding today after all that travelling around . I don’t go a lot on him myself when you hear people go on like he’s some kind of super star ha but each to there own it’s your money so can make your own mind up hey
