Jonjo O'Neill's gelding had the race in the bag at Newton Abbot the previous month only to tip up when clear at the last obstacle. He will enjoy the forecast good ground.

karawaan beat stormy tale by 0.75, stormy tale is 4lbs better off. stormey tale is 1lb above a distance win on softy/heavy going, karawaan is 11/4 whilst stormey is 25/1, will be on karawaan but on that line, 25/1 looks big.
bigger and better has won his last two, off 70 and 75 (with claims).. today he runs off 92 and loses the 5lb claim which on paper means he is worth avoiding.

Pacify for me is the best novice hurdler seen over the summer months, honed his skills there and now pitched into a listed race.
He was decent on the flat rated about 100 for Ralph Beckett.
He seems a natural hurdler and races enthusiastically for a flat bred.
Like any horse sooner or later he will find his level but I hope it’s not tomorrow and he can progress further.
I thought he would have a hard race last time but beat the useful see the sea by 8 lengths giving away 7 pounds.
Jockey won this last year on itchy feet, who also runs on this card today, that one went on to run 3rd in the supreme novice at Cheltenham.
Not bet yet as I’m hoping others are backed in the morning and anything around 2-1 would be nice (5-4) best I’ve seen so far.
