My form has been shocking over the last week, there probably should've been a winner or two in that time, but overall it's been shoddy after I had a good run of things the week before.

Tuddenham Green finished as runner-up at Nottingham, he was beaten by the other jumps horse in the race. The winner stays further than 2m, so it was a shock to see her have more pace as well, but she won well. Monopolise was given every chance of winning but didn't do anything to suggest he was going to win yesterday. The winner played up before the off, was keen throughout but still managed to put in a really nice performance.

Chelmsford 3:20 – Letmelivemylife 11/4 (1pt)

Getting odds of around 9/4 seems fairly strange considering Letmelivemylife arrives to Chelmsford looking for the hat trick, but I'll happily take those and hopefully get a winner as the last week has been a struggle for me.

You'd have to say Barging Thru is probably the main threat, being a 4yo and drawn in Stall 2 from the Archie Watson yard, you know they will try and make all. He's only gone up 1lb for that recent win, but the form doesn't look particularly great and he didn't win it in great style either, so I'm not too worried about him.

Letmelivemylife clearly enjoys life on the AW, winning four times from his ten visits to the artificial surfaces. He is 2/3 for current trainer Sean Curran and seems to be getting better with each run. He was behind Secret Strength back in Feb, but that was his first run for Sean and his first run in 175 days, so was entitled to have needed the run. He was a huge eyecatcher in that race, and that proved to be correct as he won on his next two starts, with his most recent win behind the most impressive. He's against some better horses today, but he travels nicely through his races, and seems to have more to give off his handicap mark of 81, which is 2lb lighter than his future mark, so is 2lb well-in.

Southwell 7:30 – In The Giving 9/4 (1pt)

This is a race which doesn't look great on paper, so it does worry me that early money has arrived for Winnaretta, but I couldn't back her at the current prices based on what we've seen from her. She could be much better than her handicap mark, but based on what we've seen In The Giving is the play is in this race.

She ran well on seasonal reappearance at Kempton, after taking quite a pull she saw her race out well and looked like a horse who needed further. She gets an extra furlong today, and Billy Loughnane is back on board for only his second ride for William Haggas, with the previous one being on this horse's last run.

The form of the Kempton race looks decent with the third-place horse winning since and the horse back in sixth finished in the places the other day, going very close to winning.

Touching on Billy Loughnane, he is in great form, and the fact that William Haggas hasn't been using him, but he's got him back on board for this horse again today seems like they think she'll win, as he's stealing a 5lb claim and he already knows her, plus he's making his way over to Southwell for the one ride.

Hereford 4:10 – From This Moment 6/1 (0.5pt ew)

I could be getting the complete wrong end of the stick here, but From This Moment could be a handicap blot on stable/chase debut or it could be a total flop.

This is his first run for Henry Oliver's yard, who is known to land the occasional gamble and what catches the eye the most is the jockey booking of Denis O'Regan who rode this horse on his final start for Phillip Byrne in Ireland, so it's noticeable that he's opted for that jockey instead of one of his UK based jockeys which he uses frequently, and it should be noted that Denis is willing to travel across from Ireland for this ride, which is probably the reason why he's here, but he has also picked up a decent spare from the Honeyball yard too, but it more than likely would've been this ride which got him to come over to Hereford.

This horse has shown very little over rules, but was a decent PTP horse, being placed 3 times from 6 efforts, so clearly appreciates the larger obstacles and with the addition of the tongue tie, improvement is likely for his first start over fences.

Wetherby 3:10 – Marajman 9/2 (1pt)

For some reason, Marajman has been kept to good ground since moving from Willie Mullins to Charles & Adam Pogson's yard, but I don't think he necessarily has to run on that ground, as he had previously run well on softer conditions when in Ireland, including a win on heavy ground in a maiden hurdle.

He is starting to become extremely handicapped off a mark of 94, as he was rated 132 when he first came over in 2021, and he managed to win off a mark of 107 last May. He has run consistently in defeat over the winter, finishing as runner-up or in the places on his last five runs.

I think he is capable of running a big race today, and the jockey booking of Brian Hughes suggests that. He has 7 wins from 18 runs for this yard, which equals a 39% SR, which has yielded a profit of +49.58 to £1 level stakes.

I have a tip from boss at work it runs on Saturday its name is NAB WOOD at Carlisle 3.05. I know nothing about horse racing. Could someone say if it actually has a chance? There is no odds right now but he seems to think it will be 20 / 1. Thankyou if anyone can help

Having it’s very first start so it could be anything, although an unraced 6 year old is not something to get excited about but someone has kept it in training. I guess you pays your money and take your chance. Win or lose thanks for sharing. 👍

Not much to say about nab wood as it hasn’t run before.
Trainer nick Richards stable is on form and is certainly the stable 2nd string as fly by Milan who won last time will certainly be vying for favouritsm.
He is also a late starter to racing being a 6 year old.

There are 4 last time out winners, two from the same stable in Ireland to take into account also.

Like you say no odds out yet !!

No help really unless your snout has solid information ?? it’s a watch and learn race.

    Didtheyleaveuotto 8-30 southwell.
16-1 ew SKYBET paying 4 places.

A few hurdlers in this race looking for a confidence booster on the flat.
This was competing with reasonable credit in class 2 hurdles as recently as November.
This has ran 2 poor races for Ben haslam recently but he has a knack of rejuvenating older cast offs so as it’s a decent price will see if he perks up a bit tonight.
