The weather is the topic of racing at the minute and that saw it take control of the Saturday meetings, with no racing taking place in Ireland or the UK. Fingers crossed that Wolverhampton has their meeting on Sunday. You have a couple of scheduled meetings in Ireland, but I cannot see those going ahead.
IF the Wolverhampton meeting does get called off and the Irish meetings do go ahead then I'll have a look through their cards and finds a selection(s), but it doesn't look promising hence why I've dodged them as I think it would be a waste of my time to pick horses out, do a write-up for them to be NRs.

Though this is a class 4, it's a competitive race with some decent handicappers. However, I think the best chance of winning comes from the Hughie Morrison stable with LADY PERCIVAL who arrives in great form and is on the hunt for the hat trick.
This 4yo mare has some decent form on the turf, but she clearly appreciates the artificial surfaces more, with 3 wins and 3 placed efforts from 8 runs on the AW. I think her most recent win over today's C&D is her career best by quite a margin and the form doesn't look bad either. The runner-up was in very good form and he was easily put aside by Lady Percival, he had either finished 1st or 2nd in his previous three runs and has since won another race. Lady Percival was giving away 10 lbs to him, so it seemed like a fairly impressive win for the grade.
Lady Percival has been hit with a 5lb rise for that win, which doesn't look that bad and based on that run lto she looks like she has more to give. Hughie Morrison is a very good trainer, and I've always had the impression he does well with his older horses, so to see her take her form to the next level isn't a surprise.
Stall 1 is nice as she likes to race close to the pace, so if she breaks on terms she will either take the lead or sit behind the leaders, which is always nice on the AW tracks which don't have the long straights like Wolverhampton.

Exchiqior is the only one i didnt touch, no cashout either, bet placed on the manky BETUK site. would never cash out anyway. in my pomp i turned 800£ on an acca with 1 left to run three days in a row, needless to say i lost with them all, and i went on to blow 6k in a matter of hours because like many of you’ve presumed lol, was a little mentally unstable back then :D :D BOL.

well, it isn’t to gloat about the £300 profit to a bunch of nobodies is it elvis, i am just highlighting in what many believe to be the hardest betting sport in the world, that if you actually have a look and put your nose about, you can find value and if you’re good enough enough will actually win and you’ll be well away.
i mean come on, an in form AW trainer puts his trusted 5lb stable apprentice on a recent C&D winner which puts him 2 below that win… with the 2nd coming out and franking the form… and it was around 13/2 ….. yet not a single mention from anyone, so perhaps now i mention how good it looked on paper, some people may start having a butchers themselves because that’s the only way you’ll ever get anywhere in this game.
was no point me posting it with 5 left to load, but at least we can move on having learned something ;) cheers for your winners, no doubt the 3.14 loses but on for a decent return from you alone ;) hope to pay it back one day, truly.
