We had a short-priced winner yesterday in the form of Noble Anthem, who didn't win in the style of an eventual odds-on shot should, but a win is a win. I've picked out a couple of runners for Monday, hopefully they both run to form, which should take them close to winning.
Ripon 7:45
I was on the receiving end of the progressive MYRISTICA last time out when I tipped up Freak Out at Beverley. I think the race panned out better for my selection today, but you can't get away from how impressive she was and the upward trend she appears to be going on.
She's had quite a lot of racing this season with this being her sixth start already, but when a filly is in form you have to believe she is still firing on all cylinders and is worth another chance. Tim Easterby wouldn't be risking her if she wasn't right, so the relatively quick turnaround isn't a concern for me. She has been raised 5lbs for her recent success, and that seems fair enough as she won with plenty in hand.
Ripon is a track that Tim Easterby and David Allan do extremely well at. David Allan has opted for Myristica over the stablemate, Fishable, which bodes well for her chances considering the latter is a multiple-course winner.
Worcester 1:35
A horse who is arguably in the form of his life at the age of 11 is LORD BRYAN who has recently racked up his hat-trick, completing it in emphatic fashion and in the style of a horse who still might have more to give off an 8lb higher mark.
Even though this race is a tougher race with the likes of De Barley Basket coming into this with plenty of 1s next to his name, he is worth a shot against the favourite as he seems to enjoy this track and the good ground which should be on offer today.
Peter Bowen is in decent form this season with a 22% SR and Sean Bowen currently leading the Jockeys' Championship, he will be wanting to get as many winners as possible before heading into the proper start of the NH season.

Couldn’t handle G1 race last time but lightly raced and beat Virginian who’s favourite few races back but AW form been mixed. Trainer knows what’s she’s doing,must have had workouts before as they do in the US of A. ✅
Pity about NAP being 2nd and other but 7/1 was sweet.

Which website do you use to study form etc for American races. I’d love to get into it, but I can’t find a decent enough website to compare form like the Racing Post does for the UK and Ireland races.
I’m hoping you don’t say ATR as I don’t think that’s great, but it’s the only place I’ve seen which has a lot of the American cards.

ATR aint to bad for watching past races and ratings etc but with 10/12 meetings on at times like last night ATR becomes useless after midnight as there meetings page goes on to the next day and your stumped ,unless you have already sift through every race including the meetings after midnight beforehand?

Paul Quigley of ATR mentioned a few sites about a 6 months back and the only one I found and has an App is ‘Equibase’

Looking deeper there you can pay for extra information,expert tips with Apple account but it’s £8.99 PER meeting! 😁
So I will, there’s plenty there and I’ve just been directed to Equibase.com to sign in to watch past races but you can’t as there no UK option which is $hit? IF you find a way round getting an account let me know.
Also there’s free info from TVG (US Racing channel) on there site I’ve just found but get your mortar board hat on for that stuff! 😮

I was into greyhound racing for about a month 20 odd years ago,had money to burn and quickly learned that greyhounds are fast…est way to burn that money!
