TAMREER (6.50) looks interesting at Newcastle on the strength of her second to much-improved Makawee at York.
Roger Fell's filly had previously finished fifth, not beaten far, to Harbour Breeze and should have the measure of Keith Dalgleish's Never Be Enough, a solid second under a huge weight at Pontefract. The winner that day, Navigate By Stars, has since finished a disappointing fourth at Doncaster.
TAMMOOZ (8.40) is trading at a tempting price in the finale at Lingfield. Unexposed favourite Calculation is open to improvement but Tammooz ran a race full of promise when fifth to Davydenko (easy winner yesterday) at Windsor last month. An initial handicap mark of 74 doesn't look severe.
ISHEBAYORGREY (6.20) gave Hillgrove Angel a race of it at Ayr and there was a yawning seven lengths gap back to third horse Home Before Dusk. A repeat of that run would make Iain Jardine's gelding hard to beat in the 1m 2f handicap at Newcastle.
