SWORD BEACH (5.00) may have been priced-up too generously in the concluding mile handicap at Goodwood.
The track will be riding deep and Sword Beach scored on soft at York last October off a 5lb higher mark. He found the longer trip catching him out through the final furlong when fourth here to Badenscoth (soft) at the end of August before posting a fine third to Turn On The Charm at Nottingham a fortnight ago. William Buick is back in the saddle and Sword Beach rates a knocking each-way punt.
ONASSIS (2.55) can defy a penalty in the 7f Listed fillies’ contest. She was fit enough to land the Sandringham Stakes at Royal Ascot on seasonal debut and later mopped up a Listed event at Chantilly. Onassis was last seen finishing a close fourth to Foxtrot Lady in the Group 3 Sceptre Stakes at Doncaster and her ability to handle soft ground is a big plus.
William Haggas is doubly represented by course winner Tomorrow’s Dream and progressive With Thanks. Ralph Beckett landed this prize 12 months ago and best of his trio may be ex-French four-year-old Elegant Light, a previous winner in the mud. Oisin Murphy rides Afraid of Nothing, a scorer on heavy at Epsom last season.
KING FRANKEL (3.55) is fancied in the 1m 1f novice stakes. Mark Johnston’s colt had re-opposing Juan De Montalban five lengths adrift in third when chasing home Act Of Wisdom (winner again since) here in September.

Al dancer 2-45 Newton abbot 11-4.
Goes well fresh, nicholls odds on favourite obvious danger but I couldn’t bet on a horse who has fallen in 3 of its last 4 races myself.
Al dancer was probably a better hurdler but gradually improved as a chaser in good company finishing 5th in the arkle at Cheltenham.

(Sore point has tipped this which is an obvious plus, the favourite GOSHEN will be a top player over jumps this year and this could be just a warm up and distance a bit short, though if it’s heavy a half fit Goshen could win, sticking with natural history ,
though.
Elvis some close decisions for me but Natural History is proven on the heavy so makes all the difference for me.
Natural History was in my Notebook , but Goshen is very dangerous on this heavy ground , and I always trust not in horses after a break at the second start , but good luck for your bet .

R. 5 – Up Helly AA / Curragh ** ran last Race , first time in a Grp 3 Race , there was no chance against a strong horse Tiger Moth from the O’Brien stable and to long distance , I think the shorter distance today , looking very better , show a good form , against a solid Grp horse , So Wonderful and beat Pincheck at Cork in a LR.

Two Breeders Cup bets that I like, Girl Daddy and Sittin On Go are two I really like, both trained by Dale Romans, both are fast horses that have a really good turn of foot, both are unbeaten with 2 wins, both have won at Ellis Park and Churchill Downs, both were extremely impressive at Churchill Downs last time out, both haven’t raced since but that was through choice as connections wanted both to go straight to the Breeders Cup

If betting was like today it would be great but as is with a losing day, it’s just one day, tomorrow our bets could all lose so bet sensibly and don’t give it all back to the enemy.
