Wolverhampton 4.45
BUILDING BRIDGES (4.45) is an interesting runner in the two-mile handicap at Wolverhampton, with the suspicion he he has a few pounds up his sleeve.
Now in the care of Stuart Edmunds, Building Bridges was a winner at Navan for Jessica Harrington last June and he made a winning debut over hurdles when beating Silkstone by three lengths at Huntingdon in November.
Building Bridges was made a short-price favourite the following month at Musselburgh but was a spent force when falling at the last in the race won by useful El Picador. Chief opponents Master Burbidge and Yamato are dangerous course and distance winners.
Doncaster 2.25
At Doncaster, MIDNIGHTS' GIFT (2.25) should be up the the task of giving away 5lb to all her opponents in the Fillies' Juvenile Hurdle.
Alan King's charge beat the JP McManus-owned Gavrocheka 12 lengths at Aintree in December and then bit off a bit more than she could chew when hunting up Nicky Henderson's year-older Marie's Rock in a Listed hurdle at Taunton.
Fantastic Ms Fox and the experienced Guardia Top are feasible each-way alternatives but Midnights' Gift is pretty solid.
Doncaster 3.25
WAKOOL (3.25) showed placed form in France and Nick Alexander sends the four-year-old to Doncaster for his handicap debut. The four-year-old showed promise when third to El Picador at Musselburgh and doesn't look harshly treated in a modest affair.
