Alan Thomson was in the money with his Kelso nap (9-2) yesterday and he has two value selections at Southwell.

BREAK THE SILENCE (6.55) does all his racing these days at Southwell and Paddy Power have gone out on a limb at 7-1, four places each-way. Although kept busy on the Fibresand, Break The Silence continues to hold his form and this looks a slightly easier assignment.

4-time C&D winner. Latest win here in January. 5/2, fourth of 6 in handicap at this C&D 15 days ago, slowly away. Can give a good account.

JOHNNY REB (5.25) is a little more speculative but is another worthy of an each-way investment at decent odds. Wearing blinkers for the first time, he led over a furlong out before fading into fifth behind in-form Split Down South at Chelmsford City a fortnight ago and the winner has since run an excellent second to Wiley Post at Kempton.

Blinkered for 1st time, respectable fifth of 9 in handicap (14/1) at Chelmsford City (7f) on debut for new yard 14 days ago.

    Brosna George 3.50 down

Put this one up last time but while he finished 7th he did stay on over the 2m 5f trip from the back of the field and today’s trip should be of more benefit.
Only C&D winner in the line up. Was as high as 12s last night now best priced 9a so looks to be some money coming for him.

cheers, won LTO, 2nd and 3rd had claimers that day, both came out next time and won without them.

also, i keep note of trainer/jockey combos in certain silks and that trio is definitely one to always check.

using paddypower, the in play against the field market has been profitable for me in a couple of bets so far. especially in the big runner irish fields, they basically use the top 3 or 4 horses in the market and then you can be on the rest and the price is typically very viable.

    Good research

  16. negwob99 4 years ago

Nobody have any records for AT then?

He is not in profit if that is what you mean. only long term tipsters who are in profit are busstop and double carpet i would guess

    • Mr Fixit 4 years ago

How do you know? For one thing you don’t know what he stakes.

    • Mr Fixit 4 years ago

Every tip remains on the site so you can check if you want but his hit rate is right up there.

i think out of all the regulars, no one has eclipsed alan. he has had plenty of decent priced winners since joining. i would guess his point total in terms of singles is probably negative but wouldn’t be shocked if it wasn’t.

uncle pom not been properly active for a while so discounting him, elvis has been the most consistent with azz/plug close behind.

theMOP we know who you are lol you just changed your tipster name. how can you say elvis and plug are better busstop tipped a treble just last week. I have followed him every day for level stakes for 5 years i am in very good profit gl

my account was deleted for bad behaviour, i’ll either learn or be banned again/properly.

it is just my opinion, perhaps i dont pay as much attention to busstop anymore, if he’s winning for you then great, i asked him about one of his tips yesterday which looked very risky and didn’t hear back.

    • Mr Fixit 4 years ago

We know and most people know who you are.

Everyone this is not a competition between us so talking who is better than who is childish.
none of us are pro tipsters and we all have good and bad days .Alan is the site tipster the rest as elvis always says are just punters

just remember this guy is talking to himself answering his own comments with different accounts. looking for attention and trying to get reactions.

MOP different name still after timing

For Nobody here are statistics important , this is a free tip site , mostly bet here not with yeld or stakes , I say it again , you can be lucky to have nice tipsters here , who share there tips on this site , all who bet long time in horse racing , . know you have a bad run sometimes , and one day you have a perfect day , who bring you back in profit .

You better not talking about people who are in profit or not , you better say thx to all the tipsters here , who give the tips for free , because on other sites you must pay a lot of money for good tips !!

G luck all and a nice Evening .

I am going to chance RIPSTICK, 4lbs above his last win two starts back. The 2nd ROXYFET has come and won since.

I keep this jockey in mind and the trainer has had two wins and four places with his previous 10 runners.

LTO Ripstick was 3rd, he lost by 7.75l to today’s fav DUNLY when 5lbs lower, today he is 21lbs lower. The horse in between them has come out and won since. 16lbs is a massive difference and despite only being 5/1, he looks an EW shot to nothing, money back for a place, decent win if he can upset the fav.

11/1 winner earlier, don’t let that mean anything, level stakes, always.

i remember watching SYLVIACLIFFS bolt up over CD with ben curtis on, only 3lbs higher today and i wouldn’t be leaving him out of a tricast :D

3rd LTO, behind BREAKTHESILENCE, losing by 1.5l. that day SYLVIA was 7lbs higher and now is only 1lb higher, a decent chunk.. sylvia 5/1 looks a cracking e/w bet with 4 places look sure to get money back with a strong win possibility.

Le Menege Enchante 13/2 beat Aquarius 7/1 by 4.5l when carrying 12lbs less. There is a massive 18lbs swing.

Captain Dion looks out of it and depsite the jockey booking, I am overlooking Sandridge Lad.

LIAMBA is a CD specialist and is on for a 3 timer all over CD. Somehow he’ll be racing off 70, up only 2lbs.

Gnaad is down to 71 but doesn’t look worthy of a bet despite some ok results recently at Lingfield.

Johnny Reb is alan’s pick and is yet to race here and has only had 4 starts. He was 2nd to a C3 88 horse in a novice race. He looks likely to carry my money out of those mentioned so far.

COOLAGH MAGIC 14/1 is also uninspiring but I may chance him too given he is now down to 69. This time last year he won off 69 and over 1f less here off 75, beating Sandy Lad by 10l.

  21. negwob99 4 years ago

OK I have started to track him but wondered if it would be worth it. Seems to have had a few winners recently

    • rog 4 years ago

You need to track two sets of figures, headline and others .
I had all his stats from when he became the headline tipster but lost most when my PC died .
People should give him the utmost respect, he is well regarded throughout the industry .

For the year to September to a £10 level stake

      Headline/ nap = 74 / 203 + £575 ( 57.5 pts )

      Other = 248 / 938 + £1165 (116.5pts )

This year I only log and follow the naps it’s a better use of a bank ( less bets much higher stake)
      Jan to date 7/26 + 2.4 pts ( incredibly another 12 placed .

Any serious punter logs every bet it’s the only way you know what area you can increase and what to drop .
