DELICATE KISS (12.15) has run some of her best races at Lingfield and another mighty effort is on the cards in the mile handicap.
The six-year-old made all to score by a length over course and distance last month and is only 2lb higher. The presence of another potential front-runner in Corazon Espinado is the potential fly in the ointment, but Delicate Kiss doesn't have to do it out in front. I'm Available was only sixth behind Delicate Kiss and is no better off at the weights.
CULTURE (6.55) has developed into a Kempton specialist and may be capable of defying top weight in the 1m 3f handicap.
He was a dual course winner for previous trainer George Baker in October and has since joined Tom Ward. Culture chased home No Nay Bella here last time off a slightly higher rating and seems sure to go close.
DEPUTY (5.25) is a bit of each-way value against hot favourite Rohaan in the 7f nursery.
Rohaan landed a substantial gamble at Newcastle but victory didn't look likely as he still trailed the field at the two-furlong marker. Once finding his full stride, however, Rohann fairly scythed through the pack to score comfortably in the end. He meets stronger opposition this evening, with Deputy dropping in trip after fading into sixth here over a mile at the beginning of November. Fifth horse Oz Legend has since lifted a decent contest at Newcastle.
Dashing Dick has twice found one too good at Chelmsford City recently and is another holding legitimate claims along with Love Of Zoffany in a race possibly more open than the betting might suggest.
