SINGING THE BLUES (4.45) sticks out as an attractive punt at Salisbury. Rod Millman's gelding split Nuit St Georges and Sassi over 1m 6f at Nottingham (soft) and that pair won next time out. This drop to 12 furlongs isn't a problem and a 2lb rise is very fair.
INCLYNE (4.15) is finding it difficult to poke her nose in front but Andrew Balding has plotted her a winning opportunity in the 1m 4f maiden. His filly ran She Believes to a neck after a solid third to Manorah at Nottingham (well-beaten fourth Patchouli scored at Ripon last week).
The track will be riding very deep at Carlisle and connections are desperate to get a win out of heavy-ground filly MILAN REEF (7.00) while the rain-clouds are around. She chased home Motahassen (runs 6.30) in a slightly better race at Haydock last week and is marginally preferred to easy course and distance winner Jackhammer, up 7lb here.

trainer won this last year, had a winner with G LEE last night who rides PRESTBURY PARK 7/1 in the same race, we look to be the 2nd string on paper, however, we have a CD win to our name with tonight’s jockey, a year ago to the day we were winning over this distances from 2lbs lower, then in july we won over 6f again in a class 3 event off 4lbs higher than today, tonight we race in class 5.
fanshawe had a winner last night, he has a short priced cheveley park horse at thirsk, i dont like to back maiden stakes races but maybe for others, his other horse LILY PAD 11/2 probably has place claims but 6/5 is very skinny.
fahey and hamilton also teamed up for a winner last night, they have two, another cheveley park horse appropriately named HEAVENS OPEN 10/3, also another maiden stakes race so maybe the 4/6 to place could boost some accas, his other horse RAMESSES 1930C is on the slide around 9/2, with only 2 places it is hard to recommend to place but if betting sensible stakes, we have nothing to fear.
