Alan Thomson's sole tip won yesterday and he has a quartet of Monday predictions.
ROHAAN (6.15) has enjoyed a productive campaign and another success could be on the cards in the 6f Conditions Stakes at Kempton.
He has a bit to find with his Lingfield conqueror Bravado, unbeaten for Mark Johnston, but Rohaan was given an awful lot to do before running on late into second. Rohaan's long stride is much better suited by a galloping circuit like Kempton. Course winner Mighty Gurkha likes to bowl along, so there should be plenty of pace to attack in an interesting contest.
SOAR ABOVE (6.45) makes plenty of each-way appeal, especially as favourite Going Places is trading pretty short on handicap debut. Soar Above won over course and distance in mid-December and coped with a 6lb rise quite well when third to Ghaith here 19 days ago.
CASARUAN (2.10) is another with each-way potential at Chelmsford City. Mick Appleby's colt was a close second to Lottie Marie before Christmas and his more recent fourth to Dutch Decoy in first-time cheekpieces was another solid effort.
At shorter odds, course winner INDIGO TIMES (4.10) should have the measure of Gold Standard and Black Kalanisi, recent winner of a Jumpers' Bumper at Lingfield.
