Random Harvest was very game to win at Ascot. I thought she'd win in a more convincing style, but to get a win on the board and secure profit on the day was all that mattered.
Munich 1:50 – Fantastic Moon 2/1 (1pt Bet365)
I'll start off with the Group 1 race over in Germany at Munich. We have a Godolphin runner from the Charlie Appleby yard who would be of major interest if the ground was quick, but with it being good to soft already and more rain to follow I think Fantastic Moon is the play for this race.
Other than Benbatl and Pastorious this race has been won by a horse who has run to an RPR of 113 – 118 and I think if Fantastic Moon is still progressing, then he should be difficult to beat as he ran to an RPR of 115 last time, gets the weight-for-age allowance, being the only 3yo in the race and seems to be a horse on the up. He seems to handle conditions perfectly fine, and if you look past his returning seasonal reappearance at today's venue then he is 4/4. He evidently needed his first run this year and he has been on a upward trajectory since.
With the ground more than likely to be testing I think it's a bonus that Fantastic Moon stays further than today's trip, as we see that in a well-run race, it does often go to the horses with the extended stamina at the trip, especially on ground which should be soft.
Deauville 3:25 – Remarquee 4/1 (1pt WilliamHill)
Backing against horses that I've recently tipped up has been going against me in the last few weeks, so I'll be going for Remarquee again, who I tipped up in the Group 1 at Newmarket the other week which was won by Nashwa.
I said in my write-up that I am certain that this is a Group 1 winning filly in the making, and I still believe that is the case. She finished 2nd behind Nashwa, in what was a revival from Nashwa and she put in a tremendous display. To finish 5L behind that horse isn't anything to be concerned about, and I think she will be more at home on today's slower ground, which is what we saw her run a belter to win the Fred Darling at the start of the season.
She is a class filly, as we saw when she finished 2nd at Royal Ascot behind the Irish 1000 Guineas winner Tahiyra when she didn't get the easiest of races, again on ground probably too quick. Ralph Beckett's yard is flying and this looks like the perfect opportunity to land her first Group 1, before potentially getting more in France later on this year.

Ex Irish trained horse by Ten Soverigns who was beaten in Ireland by horses that went on to contest good races . Trainer does well with these purchases
A typical debut by UK/Ire horse Loterie he starts slow and finishing like a train but ultimately lost 😞
Phillip D’Amato was the trainer there with Loterie and he goes again with same tactics in Race 7 and Race 9 with Irish purchases.
R7…Adelia was 11/4 one point now back to 2/1. Has ran twice in Del Mar but 320 days off or be shorter price, mentioned yesterday thread.
R9…Warriors Pride 10/3. Had 3 runs in Ireland. Wasn’t totally disgraced in G3 at Leaoperdton then decent in lower races before being sold.

Put this up a couple of times Ew and finally looks to be finding 2yr old form and filling his potential but he’s been chucked into some very tough races to find it from probably a still expectant trainer.
This a G3 so drop in class and i think it’s to try and get him first win of season? Needs to get going sooner and with extra furlong and half definitely a plus here’s hoping! Has won on soft and AW.

Favourite elite status has the top line form coming 3rd in the Norfolk.
Havana cigar has been visually impressive against lesser opponents so far but is racing at home and I usually side with the French if I’m in doubt.
Elite status and Havana cigar were both fathered by Havana grey so they can have a chat about their dirty shagger dad after the race.
James Owen runner Climate Precedent making its debut for yard today after coming from Michael Bells Yard on the flat. Trainer has track record for bringing new life into a horse so should run well today. He has one other runner Vision Of Hope which has obvious claims. Took a chance backing the double just for a bit of intrest. Current odds is around 12/1
