After landing 3 winners from 3 selections on Tuesday, yesterday was a bit of a stinker. A couple of questionable rides, which is always annoying, but it's part of the game and you'll be on receiving end of those more than you aren't. Hopefully some of you were on Cairnzy's only bet of the day who won at 4/1 and won with plenty in hand.

There is a strong chance that POWERFUL POSITION will either win, or have a letter of some sort next to his form line as he clearly carries a lot of talent for his current rating, but his jumping isn't the greatest.
I believe connections will fancy their chances in this race, and they must believe his jumping is going to hold-up, as this is a fare distance to travel for the South Welsh raider. Christian Williams has a very good record at this track when sending his runners up, especially when he sends chasers (4 Wins from 9 Runs 44% SR). This race doesn't seem all that strong, and I believe the 7lb hike in the weights won't be enough to stop this progressive horse. The form of his wins aren't great by any means, but when he wins, he wins with more authority than what his winning margin says he does.
The ground conditions shouldn't be an issue, as he has ran well on testing ground before. Also, I think this extra few furlongs that he encounters will suit his running style as well, as he seems a strong stayer over 3m, with it taking him a while to get into top gear, so the extra yardage will allow him to get that point.
The price available for this horse isn't great, but with a clear round of jumping, I think he will be tough to beat.

Also he has had 9 second place finished at Sedgefield so that’s 18 top 2 finishes here !!
You have to factor in his age and his shit form this season so that’s why I’ve gone for place bets and not the win at 7-1.
