I ONLY have the one tip for today but I thought that I should share it given the big price. It’ll be nice to be able to gloat if it bolts up.
3.45pm Ayr
My tip comes in the big race of the day at Ayr: the William Hill Bronze Cup. The current joint favourite is Tommy G trained by Jim Goldie and ridden by Danny Tudhope and whilst I might have a wee saver on him if he drifts out to 6-1 or thereabouts the one that I think is huge value is ORIENTAL LILLY also from the Goldie yard.
She won nicely a couple of days ago in what I think was a fairly strong race with Athollblair Boy and Tadaawol in behind. She is only 3lb higher here and if you look back through her form you’ll see that she was rated 86 this time last year and is a course and distance winner here at Ayr. We know that she is in good form so I would expect another big run from her and 22-1 with most firms paying 5 places each way is great value.
