Racing Tips: Opening mark of 75 underestimates Infinitive

Its been a while since I've been active on the thread. Mainly due to it being jump season and me opting not to get involved as much in class 6 races at Southwell every evening due to the consistency being similar to that of catching my missus in a good mood.

All that aside there are people within the thread that enjoy the flat and as promised I'll always do my best to jump on if I find something worth sticking up.

Southwell 8:20 – Infinitive 2/1

Sir Michael Stoute's horses always have to be respected regardless of recent form and opposition in the field.

Although my selection infinitive has been a beaten favourite recently when finishing 2nd at this track last month im more than happy to give her another roll of the dice. She takes a slight step up in trip which should hopefully see her in a better light and a mark of 75 may underestimate her ability.

It's a tricky race and typically one that I'd not get involved in with plenty of the field with question marks on their heads.

Becketts Sweet Fantasy looks a danger if the cheekpieces have the desired effect as she hit the frame 4 times out of her previous 5 races. Typewritten is another horse with some ability although wasn't up to much at Kempton when last seen but does make a return to Tapeta where most of her better form is found.

I think if Infinitive realises the step up in trip she'll be bang there at the finish.
