George Scott’s gelding quickened smartly to beat Crystal Pegasus handsomely in a Pontefract maiden before finding good handicap company too much to handle at Glorious Goodwood. Crystal Pegasus has since won by a wide margin at Bath and Sarvan will appreciate dropping back to ten furlongs.
MOOMBA (6.25), running in the silks of Abba legend Benny Andersson, has been placed on all three starts this summer, most recently when second to Cepheus at Goodwood. That form is working out fine.
