BOLLIN MARGARET (4.30) exploded into form with a very easy Redcar victory last week and can make light of a 5lb penalty at Beverley.
Tim Easterby seems to have a rapidly-improving three-year-old filly in his care as Bollin Margaret made all to score by more than three lengths. There was a yawning gap back to the third so there was no fluke about the result. She might not get it all her own way up front as principal rival Ideal Candy also likes to bowl along. Ideal Candy runs the track well and looks the only threat.
CHAMPAGNE TERRI (2.45) didn’t beat an awful lot at Ayr three weeks ago but she did it in the manner of a progressive filly. Adrian Keatley has found her a good opening over 1m 6f at Catterick, although The Navigator has run well on his last two starts at Hamilton and Thirsk and poses a threat along with Sir Mark Prescott’s Road To Paris.
HAVANA GO (5.20) was pulled out of a race at Hamilton on Saturday evening when well fancied and Iain Jardine has elected to move the gelding up quite significantly in trip in the 1m 4f handicap.
