Strong Leader jumped like a fridge at Ffos Las and that gave him no chance of winning the race. Though he jumped poorly, I still expected him to finish close during the race as he was the class horse in the race, but he put in a honking performance.
Musselburgh 2:05 – Luna Magic 6/4 (1pt)
Monday racing has a fair few cards but the quality of racing is very poor. I've found myself backing Luna Magic in this amateur riders race.
More often than not, backing the horse with the best jockey in the race will find you the winner. Brodie Hampson is the best rider in this race, in my opinion, and though that gives Luna Magic a big chance of winning today, I thought his most recent run at Wolverhampton was a nice return to form and though this horse is above his last winning handicap mark, based on that recent run he should be perfectly fine.
I won't be going overboard with the money on this horse due to the nature of the race, but I do believe Luna Magic has the best chance of winning this race, as the odds would suggest.
Windsor 3:45 – Tribal Hunter 11/4 (1pt Bet365)
Though the ground at Windsor will be drying up overnight and in the morning, I can't imagine it'll change the going for the current description of soft. My fancy, Tribal Hunter was an emphatic winner on soft ground as a 2yo and was mightily unlucky last time out at Pontefract when not getting any gaps through the race.
Tribal Hunter was well-supported into 100/30 for his seasonal reappearance last time out, which came on the back of a 300+ day break, so he was clearly showing good things back at Richard Fahey's yard and they must've believed he was a well-handicapped animal. Last time out he was blocked in running on a few occasions when trying to get through the field, he eventually finished on the bridle in last place which was a painful watch even though I didn't have any money on him on that day.
He will be fitter for that run, and if they were strongly fancying him that day I can imagine the money will arrive again for him with soft conditions clearly being to his liking.

Not sure about this new course in California thats popped up with Golden Gates course to shit soon but C.Moon was last seen running in Grade 1 at Santa Anita were he was truly pumped and sold but In against these he should be to good and workouts are very good.
BUT….strange the sale and this is a 75K Stakes’ race so it’s not easy but this will only be his 8th run too!

2 weeks to the day and almost the time this won over course,distance and grade.
Pulled away by 4 lengths then showing nice fight when appearing passed in the straight on the outside looking “green ” out on his own. Fought back and got up against a good horse by a nose and any notch of improvement will see him win again which his Breeding and work outs suggest. The next 2 in the market have won ough it’s taken them more efforts they are to be feared. 🙄
