The good form continued yesterday, as Scoop The Pot won at a drifted price of 11/1. It's nice when a plan comes together, but it's very difficult to judge when they're going to go for it from that stable, thankfully yesterday was the day for the selection.

Lucinda Russell is starting to become a stable that I really like a lot. She has got a lot of hidden gems in her yard, and she definitely knows how to train winners. Whenever she sends one down South, they have to be given a second look. Even though her record at Cheltenham doesn't give you much confidence, this is a rare runner for her at this track, and for her to bring CORACH RAMBLER into this contest suggests they think he is a really smart novice, or they are targeting one of the big festival handicaps, so they want to know if he'll handle the track.
This horse clearly has bags of potential, as the way he picked up when he took the lead two from home was impressive. He basically sewed the race up right at that point, as the then leader couldn't cope with the turn of foot he has. Derek Fox probably got to the front far too soon that day, and knowing that now, I think he will be played late in this race, as when he hit the front, he did zero. His head carriage started to become high, and he was idling. So ideally, he'll want to be producing him at the last and up the hill. He was put up 7lbs by the handicapper for that run, and you can't really complain about that, as it was an eye-catching performance. The form of that Aintree race probably isn't that strong, but his run prior to that where he finished 3rd on chase debut to Minella Trump & Pay The Piper reads very well, with One True King back in a distant 5th.
This race doesn't look all that competitive. You'd have to say that the Jonjo runner will play a strong part, but I think the fact he got a 7lb rise in the weight for a fall in his last race is harsh, and I don't rate the form of that at all, so I think he will struggle off a mark of 142. Undersupervision would rank as another danger, but the fact he fell last time out at this track would puts doubts in my mind that he is capable of putting in a good round of jumping around this testing track, even though he did on chase debut, but that was a 3 runner race.

2/4 in the USA with first 2 up that were both singles (9/2 an 2/1) but next 2 we’re a let down especially an odds on fav by time of racing hitting 2nd again?
