CARLUKE trainer Keith Dalgleish sends a couple down the M74 to Carlisle with chances and CAUSTIC LOVE (4.50) is already a dual course winner. She won't mind some ease in the ground and can complete the hat-trick, despite a 6lb rise.
IRON MIKE (3.45) is also of interest in the 7f maiden handicap. He didn't stay 1m 2f at Redcar last time but had previously shown bits and pieces of form, enough to suggest he can take a hand. Iron Mike's sire Gregorian was at his best in the mud, so conditions may have come in his favour. Some firms are going each-way four places and I'll be bitterly disappointed if Iron Mike isn't involved.
MASAR (3.35), the 2018 Investec Derby winner, made a satisfactory return to action at Royal Ascot and is a worthy favourite to land the Princess of Wales’s Stakes at Newmarket. He understandably looked a bit ring-rusty in the Hardwicke Stakes and connections report him in good shape following that pipe-opener. Masar should take the measure of chief rival Mirage Dancer.

2.25 N Visinari/ Guildsman Can not spilt them. I did have E/W bet last night on Hurstwood 33/1 no good now with only 7 runners.
3.00 N Moss Gill 10/1 I took 12/1 E/W last night. Wide open 6f Handicap with 20 runners at least 1/2 the field can win. Had E/W saver on Rathbone 14/1 SKY paying 6.
3.35 N Masar to win by 2 lengths or more 10/3
4.05 N Dubai Paradise to win by 2 lengths or more 6/1
4.40 N Turgenev 7/4. To win by 7 lengths 7/1.
