To come away with 2/2 wins from yesterday's selections was nice as I was fairly confident that it would happen. Faustinovick was the dodgy one of the two who I thought could hit the crossbar again after doing so many times in his career but at the 18th time of asking he broke his duck and won nicely. Nicky Richards' winner didn't win in the style I was hoping for, but he won and kept the yard in red-hot form.

I'm going to take a leap of faith on the Stuart Edmunds runner who is his only runner of the day and comes a long up to Sedgefield from his Buckinghamshire base.
DOIREANN hasn't managed to win on her previous seven starts over hurdles but has run okay on a couple of occasions to suggest she is capable of winning races of this nature. I think she has to be of major interest on the back of her summer break as they are willing to travel a long way to potentially get her off the mark. This race only pays £4.6k to the winner, and when you consider how much will be taken away from the fuel, and the winning percentage to the jockey and trainer, the profit to the owners will only be worth it if they get the win, so they must fancy her chances quite strongly.
During the summer break, she has been given a wind-op, which should hopefully be beneficial to her and help her finish her races. She has finished 2nd 2x in her career, but on the most recent one of the two, she didn't quite get home after leading for the entire race, which could be due to a wind problem.
Stuart is in good form currently and has been going well since the start of the jumps season (operating at 20% last 14 days and 19% since start of the season), as well as the jockey who has had 4 winners from his last 20 rides and takes the trip up to the Northern track for one ride.
