Racing tips: Keep the Faith with Haggas filly at Salisbury

Salisbury 4.55

THERE is some classy action at Salisbury where SEA OF FAITH (4.55) will appreciate the rain that fell yesterday.

William Haggas pitched his filly into some deep races earlier in the season, with Sea of Faith running behind the likes of Sparkle Roll and Queen Power on her first two starts.

She mopped up a Mickey Mouse maiden at Doncaster on easy ground and didn't appear to quite get home over 1m 5f last time at Newbury. This return to 1m4f can see her take the scalp of hot favourite Litigious and Goodwoinner scorer Mannaal.

Salisbury 3.50

The more rain that falls the better for KING OTTOKAR (3.50). Charlie Fellowes drops him to a mile following his third to Sangarius in the 1m 2f Hampton Court Stakes at Royal Ascot, having previously weakened in the 1m 4f Chester Vase.

Mojito made a winning comeback at Sandown before a slightly disappointing sixth to Beat Le Bon at Goodwood.

Flashcard handled soft ground well at Ascot, scoring by an emphatic four lengths and is another worth considering.

Accidental Agent takes a drop in grade having finished last in the Sussex Stakes, not beaten too far.

Beverley 3.00

At Beverley, SIYAHAMBA (3.00) should go close in the 1m 4f seller. He finished fourth to Flower Power in this race last year but of late has been running more consistently than the top weight.

Salisbury 4.00

PLATFORM NINETEEN (4.00) won't be much of a price but Michael Bell's three-year-old won well at Nottingham last time, finishing off his race very strongly after briefly looking in trouble two out.
