KAMRA (6.30) acquitted himself well on his first start for Mick Appleby ten days ago and should be involved in the finish on a fairly quick turnaround at Wolverhampton.
Formerly with Henry Spiller, Kamra was off the track for 291 days before his comeback run at Lingfield, leading in the straight before being cut down by Fizzy Feet. The gelding was quick enough to beat useful Outrage at Kempton last October and Kamra can be bet each-way at around 5-1.
There's not much to get excited about elsewhere but DIVINE GIFT (3.30) is interesting at Southwell on his first start for Iain Jardine. He was fairly useful for Charlie Fellowes, running a fine third to Sir Michael Stoute's Calculation over 1m 6f at Doncaster in the summer. This is Divine Gift's first try on the all-weather and he must go well in a modest handicap if revved up after his lay-off. The betting may well be informative. Favourite Angel Lane had almost four lengths to spare when thumping Sociologist (runs 3.00) over course and distance a fortnight ago and is a potent threat off a 5lb higher mark.
