IT was a great Wednesday with La Sioux and Masarzain winning to land a 12.5-1 double.

On Thursday we head to Bath for two selections. It is the only racecourse not to have watering facilities and therefore the going can get very fast with a going description of firm not unusual.

The run-in is uphill all the way and tends to suit galloping rather than the sharp type of horse. At the time of writing this the going is good to firm, Firm in places with the going stick reading of 9.1.

My Nap TOBOUGGALOO runs in a class 5 for horses aged 4yo+ and rated 56-75. Tobouggaloo was advised a few days ago but was withdrawn, his last run was an unlucky one as the tack broke causing the saddle to slip and unseated the jockey when a win looked assured.

That should have been 3 wins from her last 3 runs but on Monday she can make it 3 wins from her last 4 runs. Tobouggaloo is able to run from the same mark here.

My other selection goes in the first race a class 6 for horses aged 2yo rated 0-65. GO BANANAS finished second last in the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot, although she has been running in lower-class races since she has run with credit at distances less than ideal. This drop back down to the minimum trip should see her in a better light on Thursday with first-time cheekpieces expected to help.

Trainer Brian Meehan is in reasonable form with two recent winners. The last selection is RUA AUGUSTA at Chelmsford in a class 3 Novice Stakes for horses aged 2yo. Rua Augusta was really unlucky when second on debut beaten just a head by White Mocha. It was a slow run race that day and being held up didn’t help but he finished well which suggests improvement is expected.

Johnb's Thursday Tips

Trainer 30+% strike rate recently, and wins roughly 1 in 4 here since 2011, horse won c&d this year, came 2nd in handicap last time, back in novice race today

elvis thanks for reply .Good reasoning but still cant split them Skelton in fine form and good record at the track also.

might have to be a r/v forcast

      gl

–I m not much of a horse gambler, football is my thing, but surely a r/f on a 11/8 and 5/4 wont make any money?

kauto .will probably pay about £4 which is as good as a 3/1 winner,so no so bad if it came in.

3/1 sounds right for the straight forecast not for a reverse forecast. If i can get 3/1 on manlook and gibson park finishing in the first 2 in either order i will lump on. Can anyone else confirm this before i put it on?

    • thehawk 7 years ago

At minute on bet365 you would get £3.36 for your £1 fcast both priced at 11/8.

kauto as you have already said yourself above theres not much in the betting 11/8 both with bet365 so r/v f/c will pay same either way .Theres no guarentee it will come up in any race. Its horse racing anything can happen as we all know.

Ok worked it out the hawk is right. The odds are actually about 8/13 not 3/1 for the r/f. I thought i was onto something there. Not my kind of bet but hope it wins for you.

kauto If you put a £1 f/c on and get £3.36 back that the HAWK suggested how can that be odds on 8/13 .You have got 2.36 to 1 .

    • rog 7 years ago

      RFC is 2 bets .
      £1 RFC returns 3.36 less £2 stake = + £1.36 = 8/13

kauto you are correct with your odds if your doing a r/v f/c though

    • azzthewigan 7 years ago

      well done busstop

    • andyeff 7 years ago

V tough. Gibson Park appears to run to quicker times, but they have a form line with celestial path which seems to shown man look as better. V tough as Skeltons can defy the numbers.

      Good luck

Id personally side with the skelton horse if i had to pick but it looks hard to call its a no bet race for me but elvis i hope yours win for you?

Haggis your either another busstop/boz account or you clearly dont know about his trolling or your a complete idiot. Not sure which one too be onest

    • wr 7 years ago

This guy thinks he can bully people on here behind false accounts and get away with it. Dont be a fool haggis this guy is a serious loser and a fraud. Putting up 10 tips a day for year on here then patting himself on the back from each account. Chasing away the likes of harry and de nero sone of the best tipsters ever on here

elvis yeah had a little go .Did you do it yourself .Skelton on fire at moment

      gl

    • elvis parsley 7 years ago

No, straight win and small double with mcCains in the 1st so double whammy.
Over the years McCain has a remarkable strike rate in the 1st race at Sedgefield, mate of mine does all his in the 1st here so he will be happy.

  19. 7 years ago

Good start forecast in the 5.00 came in payed £3.50

    • wr 7 years ago

      Just go away you bully!

    • wr 7 years ago

Take all your sad little back patting accounts with you as well. You must have had a head injury we all saw when you busted yourself from your toblerone account when you pretended to go on holiday. You literally are the dumbest guy ever!

  20. elvis parsley 7 years ago

I’m just dumb bud, nothing wrong with that, just look in the mirror.

  21. wr 7 years ago

Yet again ANOTHER loser from the site bully.

  22. 7 years ago

Elvis did you stick with mccain he just had a 16/1 winner and a great ride ,mine was well beat in third.

    • elvis parsley 7 years ago

No, sulked after my NAP lost and switched over to the footy.
Mc Cain and Skelton 2 to follow at the moment.
3-45 Bangor tomorrow, ballycool won this last year off 8lb more. He goes for a repeat today.
Travels a long way for this.
Similar conditions, 7 runners, apparently out of form going into the race.
At 16-1 would be ew shout, shame there are only 7 runners.

  23. 7 years ago

    Early nap for tomorrow

Deadly move 3.45 bangor 10 points win (max bet) @ 10-3

Been given this one for tomorrow off realiable source the trip and jockeys allowance is apparantly the key for this.

    Well done all winners today
